While there wasn't anything announced specifically at PAX I had to wait to say that there will be MP content released at the same time as the DLC.

 

There should be:

 

1 :bandit:

2 :bandit:

16 :bandit:

~30 :bandit:

and something like ~7 :bandit:

If we won't get anything,  we only have 1,25 dlc.(s) That's pathe ... strange for an EA game.

 

(( And please don't count Destruction as a DLC. ))

As far as im concerned, Dragonslayer was the only DLC we got. Compare this to all the huge expansion packs we got for ME3MP. Smh,

If you want to be optimistic, it could mean that, while we won't get DLC anymore for MP, we could see patches filling the role of providing us new content. Realistically, I think the next patch will likely be the last bit of new content we end up getting for MP before the crew finishes up this last Varrics Book.

Dragonslayer was the only DLC we got.

 

Seems like it's going to stay the only DLC we got, too.

 

There's no real excuse for the lack of smaller maps. There are assets from different locations already in the game which could have been utilised, enemies that could easily be faction-ised, like bandits, carta, etc. As for characters, there are a large number of outfits already in the game. The main limitation on that front is probably voicing them, hence why we got Pala in all her silent, recycled glory.

 

I have more to say, but none of it good. Sad considering how much I actually play the game.

I hold on to that lingering feeling that they have something in their backhand still. Something grand. It is fleeting, however. Slightly nevertheless, but fleeting.

 

Then again, adding two difficulties just for high level players wasn't a good sign that we are getting tremendous amounts of more content; since despite being a regular here, I still refuse to believe those needs are even close to the majority. So assuming this was sort of low on the priorities list accordingly, we must have completed what could be done already.

I had a thought earlier & after waking up from the ensuing coma, it made a little sense.

 

Although I'm fairly sure we're not going to be getting anything major for DAIMP, I thought, do we actually need dlc "packs?" Think about it for a second, whenever we got the free dlc for ME3MP & DAIMP, it was technically delivered as a compatibility update with a separate downloadable file, which I call; an 'unlock key'. Why not simply give out any free dlc as updates only & put in the patch notes: added characters/maps to multiplayer?

 

It's just a thought.

It's the most likely course they could take if they wanted to continue work on the game.

You either are or aren't working on anything, and this whole "lol just wait and see" attitude is pissing me off more then it should. I don't remember any other multiplayer game i ever played communicating with its player base this poorly. Either developers said they were still working on new stuff or they said they weren't working on new stuff but would provide normal support of the game.
