Dragon Age: Trespasser Predictions

From what I've heard so far it seems that the other nations of Thedas (Orlais and Fereldan) are getting sick of having the Inquisition around. In the trailer there seems to be some sort of trial or hearing where they question you and your actions. Anyone having deja vu at this? It's a lot like the beginning of Mass Effect 3 when Shepard is put on trial.

My first prediction is this: the hearing will begin, last a few minutes, but ultimately it will be like Mass Effect 3 and will be interrupted as the Qunari begin their attack (much like when the Reapers crashed the party).

Second prediction: there will be a moment when the Inquisitor will be able to snark some of the Orlais or Ferelden delegation by remarking that it looks like somebody wants to call an inquisition on the Inquisition.

Third prediction: there will be no Sandal in this DLC... dammit.

If any of these are right in a week I reserve the right to post again so I feel like I'm a seer.

Any other predictions?

Solas tricked the Qunari and Inquistion to fight in the CrossRoad , because he's using Magrallens http://dragonage.wik...iki/Magrallen.

(there's a red egg during some fighting in the crossroads.)Magrallens needs dragons blood , I think qunari have dragons blood.

He does this because the CrossRoads are falling to pieces and he needs to restore the place for whatever reasons.

He 's the one activating Eluvians , he's the one making your mark go berseck on you.

At the end he will save you from the Qunari horde, says he's sorry ...blablabla...remove the mark from your hand , and explain Fen Harel stuff , saying well now Inquisitor your destiny is truly yours .

And Kthanks bye he has better things to do right now (for romance added melodrama + kissing+ maybe we'll meet in the fade , babe.Kthanks bye.)

I know completly tinfoil hat!

Oh and the Qunari will completly lose it about magical stuff and their blood being super magical .+ some revelation about Qunari.

- I hope Bull betrays you if you didn't save the Chargers. I never saved them and I expect to be repaid back in even more drama, dammit.
- I think Solas will turn out to be behind all these eluvians popping up and the Qunari attack.
- I agree with Reznore, that there'll be some big Qunari revelation. Or, at the very least more hintage towards a big revelation.
- There will be at least one ending where the Inquisitor dies. (Probably due to the mark)
- Even if every ending results in the Quizzy's death, many people will headcanon it didn't happen and then expect that headcanon to be reflected in the Keep and future games.

I know the end is already written, but I vote for dystopia. I'd love a choice- at the end- of saving the forever ungrateful lot of Thedas nobles one last time or letting the whole of Thedas burn and riding off into the sunset. I'm taking my Mark and going home. World be damned.

One of the ways to stop the mark from killing you, is to cut your hand off.

- Inquisitor will have the option to commit seppuku

- Qunari will get rekt

- There is no Maker

- All of the false elven gods will be offered to the pyre

- Orlais will remain standing/win any war due to Plot no Jutsu

- Solas once again caused all of the trouble and is gonna run away like a coward without fixing anything

I've got a good feeling 'bout most of them.

-Solas is activating Eluvians in an effort to collapse the Veil in some manner. This causes the Mark to act up.

-The Qunari you fight are either a splinter faction, or a small-ish special unit so that the Qun can use plausible deniability. It may be that, as a result of Quizzy massacring them, tensions between the world and the Qunari increase however.

-The purple figures we see are the ''guardians'' of the Eluvians, and the last enemy we fight in the DLC when we pursue/find Solas.

-You will have three options at the end; disband the Inquisition and leave for greener pastures by yourself, keep it in shape and rule, or die in some manner.

My wild guess for the timeline of events:

  1. I don't remember who first theorized this, but the Qunari probably get the eluvian passcode from city elf viddathari.
  2. Inquisitor's mark starts acting up, maybe in a public location?
  3. Qunari freak out, even if allied. "This thing which can open arbitrary doors into the Fade is really dangerous, who'd have guessed? We need to deal with it, even if it means using these magical mirrors. Magical weapons are ok if they're in our capable hands, etc etc."
  4. The Qunari try to deal with it quietly. Inquisitor kills them in self-defense.
  5. Whoops, now you killed a bunch of Qunari, this isn't what it looks like!
  6. Situation escalates. Orlais and Ferelden are all, wtf, this jeopardizes the Llomerryn Accord are you crazy?!
  7. Trying to avoid war, former allies withdraw support for the Inquisition. Meanwhile Qunari presence increases.
  8. You find your former teammates, wherever they are now (minus Solas). They, at least, believe you.
  9. Qunari are wreaking absolute havoc by teleporting all over the damn place. Inquisitor is all, we have to deal with them NOW. We can't peace our way out of this.
  10. Mark continues to act up. Possible map stabbing here?
  11. Morrigan is prooooobably busy dealing with whatever the "essence of godhood" is, but maybe she's able to help get an eluvian up and running? Or maybe, depending on friendship with Briala, she can help. Lacking friendship with Briala, the Inquisitor may have to resort to less savory means of getting their hands on a passcode.
  12. But honestly, if a good chunk of city elves know it, the Inquisition can probably just find it out from some elf rando.
  13. Madcap adventures to various lands through the eluvians. Qunari messing with the Inquisition whenever they cross paths.
  14. Inquisitor continues to be heavily impaired by the mark acting up. Maybe there are even situations where the Inquisitor is incapacitated and we fight with a 3-person party.
  15. Oh hey, an ancient elven temple with wolf statues everywhere?
  16. Surrounded by Qunari.
  17. Surprise appearance by a Fade nerd. Except now he has crazy Mythal power and still doesn't like Qunari. Qunari become a lot more... statuesque, all of a sudden.
  18. "I suspect you have questions."
  19. Questions.
  20. But more importantly, stabilizing your hand and learning the fwoooosh powers shown in the trailer. Maybe he offers to help (not as a full party member, because that would be OP as all hell) because Qunari invasion = probably not something he wants to succeed.
  21. Solve the Qunari invasion somehow.
  22. Original owner of the mark is probably going to want it back now that the Qunari threat is done. It's way too much power for a mortal to have, also, no matter how much he respects you. Maybe he now has enough power to remove it without killing you?
  23. Well, even if former allies are now appeased, you're definitely not blessed by Andraste anymore. So you hang up your Inquisitor helmet and go take up druffalo farming in the countryside.
  24. <ominous whispers from across the sea>

It will be epic, but short, and it will raise even more questions than we had so far.

Here's what will happen:

1) The leaders of Ferelden and Orlais put the Inquisitor on trial at the Winter Palace.

2) When they vote to execute the Inquisitor, Solas materializes and whisks them away to a far off mountain peak.

3) Solas admits to being a total jerk and an old god. When he is about to tell more, an eluvian appears!

4) Qunari fan out everywhere!

5) You gather your companions and take on the threat. Solas goes around during this, waking up all the old Elven gods.

6) When you finish, Solas takes the mark away from you and tells you to have a nice life, then vanishes with all his god friends.

7) Empress Celene decides you're hot and you have the option to marry her or go work for the divine, or jump off a cliff to your doom.

Me, I marry the Empress and party down in the Masked Empire!

Solas will appear only at the end and the dialogue with him will be rather short and unhelpful.

I'm still waiting for us to meet Sandal, since he is supposed to be in Orlais.

Otherwise, I really hope we get to meet Sten, since the Qunari are a big part of this DLC.

the Inquisitor will have to enter one of 3 eluvians to decide his/ her fate. The one on the left will be blue. The one in the middle will be green. The one on the right will be red.

I swear if the Cassandra romance-after she becomes divine-is not fraught with angst and that sort of high drama that reeks of Wuthering Heights, then I'll not play Dragon Age again. XD lol

Yeah, there's a good chance we'd have some reason to meet the now-Arishok. Maybe we can discuss the situation and get the invasion called off (or at least called off for now). Maybe our handling of that situation is what determines the legacy of the Inquisition.

My prediction is that the qunari who are attacking you are some sort of Ben Hasserath or antaam unit that's gone rogue and is attacking without or against orders. That most easily preserves the Iron Bull for use in the DLC for people who sacrificed the Chargers.

EDIT: Also no one's mentioned it, but I think the qunari women who sicks the saarebas/weird ogre thing on the Inquisitior is an arvaraad. She controls a saarebas and has what looks to be the Tome of Koslun strapped to her shoulder armour.

In no particular order...

  • slap Solas for leaving romance
  • fem elf inquisitor kissing Solas.... or crying
  • IB betraying you if secured 'Alliance'
  • alternatively the Qunari trying to win back IB
  • everyone wanting you dead
  • lots and lots of angst
  • more questions
  • the rest of the world finding out that it
  • the tome of Koslun. being seen?
  • people being real jerks despite saving everyone
  • Solas not giving the gear he stole back
  • the mark being removed
  • the Inq disappearing...
  • Inq who drank from the Well will hear voices around Solas
