Well its only natural for the powers that be to be nervous about the Inquisition in their kingdoms. The Inquisition is a powerful force who doesn't answer to Ferelden or Orlais. They would like to see it get dismantled.
Bah, politics.

You know this could be a case though of 'strike me down and I shall become more pwoerful then you will ever imagine'. Just think what the personalities of Dorian, Blackwall, Cassandra, and Varric will do without the Inquisition holding them back with the lessons and the growth they have went through throughout the game?
Inquisition was always going to be your 'rise and fall' - Dorian and Giselle foreshadow that several times.
I just know that it will be lame, though. I wouldn't mind the Quizzy going out like Scarface, snorting a big pile of lyrium and toting a bazooka-staff, while hordes of enemies dismantle Skyhold around her.
But it will be much lamer, like agreeing to disband everything and slinking off to be a nug farmer with your Significant Other.
Even worse, it will be a Warden-style ending, where you just disappear, doomed to haunt DA4 as vague and unsatisfying references...

Mixed feelings about this, mixed feelings.
Oh no, not The Merrilyst.
Merrilyst?
Each and every last one of the characters from the three games get together. There's a party.
Then a Bioware employee walks in and says: "We're getting really tired of people asking for certain characters to return. So here you go. Enjoy."
"Now for the twist."
Then they kill off all the characters one by one. In the most horrible ways imaginable.
But don't worry, Leliana will be back in the next game. ![]()

Is it wrong that I thought this part was the truly horrifying prospect?

But....will she be romanceable? that's the big question everyone is going to ask for YEARS until the next game comes out.
Press X to kill Solas.
Press X to kill Solas.
Devs already said Solas' story won't be wrapped up in this DLC, so rather unlikely.

I will be asking for a playable mabari as the protagonist, so... I certainly hope so!

In this franchise that doesn't mean you can't kill him.

Yeah, I'd rather Bioware stop letting us kill characters and bringing them back any ways.

I'd rather not make it like Flemeth, if killing him doesn't "kill him", then don't give us the option to kill him.

Press X to Agree. (I'm on a quick-time mood today)

I think it'll give a lot of people poetic justice myself *shrugs*
I was wondering... what about the Eluvian stuff in the Masqued Empire?
There we learn that Eluvians are under the control of Briala, if I remember correctly. How is it possible that someone else (Solas for example) can control them? Ok, he's a god, but Briala has the key to all of them...
Please, feel free to correct me. I read the novel some time ago and I don't remember it very well.

I just want him killed by a warden, torturing him first then cutting his limbs one by one, serves him right for insulting the grey ones.
No, seriously, what's a Merrilyst?
I'm just hoping like hell they don't completely dismantle the Inq after all the work we've done. It would essentially render the game pointless for replays.
There is literally no way the Inquisition will survive Trespasser.
They will wipe the slate clean. It's hinted at throughout the game.

Briala had the password to the Eluvian network, I imagine she had to give it to some of the elves she was moving around Orlais to sabotage both sides in the civil war given she can't be everywhere at once. Wouldn't be much of a stretch for it to eventually leak out more and more.

The running theory is that Solas was Felassan, the Elf from the Masked Empire Book, and his face was meant to be covered if you take him to the Winter Palace, so that possibility still stands. It would be a simple matter to simply approach Briala as Felassan, get the password, then put his own plan into motion.
Yes, but unfortunately it's Merrill.
Merrill, looking up at you, with her big soulful eyes.
Can you pull that trigger?
Yes. I don't see a problem
