She had an NXT Women's Title match against Sasha Banks(who is, in my opinion, the best women's wrestler in the world) a few months ago. One of the best matches I've seen in years.

 

Her work since being called up to the main roster isn't as impressive, but the main roster doesn't give women the time, and the women she's been working with haven't been as talented as the NXT women are, though.

 

 

 

I still say Bo Dallas needs to join them. It's a match made in heaven.

So I just watched the New Day and damn they're hilarious.
It's still surprises me that Kofi is a heel since I figured he'd go the Ricky Steamboat route and stay a good guy forever but heel Kofi is awesome.

I'm as skeptical of the concept of a "divas revolution" as the next girl, but even still, they don't often give the Divas entrances quite like that. High energy and paying for pyrotechnics, too.

The women's division on NXT over the last year or two has been amazing. Best stuff in the company.

 

It's on the main roster that the whole thing falls apart. So they brought up the three best women from NXT - Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte(Ric Flair's daughter) - throw them in the mix, and call it a revolution.

 

Problem is that they brought up all these women without establishing their character, put them on teams for a total of nine women - half of whom have little to no talent in the ring at all and none of which have chemistry with these girls - and put them in an ill defined feud with no stakes.

 

So the women's division on the main roster gets marginally better but still nothing compared to NXT, with Baylay still carrying that on her shoulders, and Stephanie McMahon gets to walk around like a civil rights hero for half-assing something AJ Lee called her out on not doing eight months ago.

Instead of doing what's pretty much unanimously loved down in NXT and resulted in (among other things) the best match over Summerslam weekend, on the main roster it's just corporate buzzwords and patting themselves on the back. The crowd at Takeover: Brooklyn was losing their minds over Sasha/Bayley and gave them a deserved standing ovation afterwards, then on Monday the crowd of largely the same people (they ran the same building 3 nights in a row) completely tore the women's segment and following match a new one, and it's not the girls' fault. They're incessantly calling it a revolution over and over again but presenting pretty much the same hot garbage that women's booking has always been in the company, and right now it's failing hard. I feel bad for Sasha, Becky and Charlotte, they deserve better.

 

It's doubly as frustrating when THEY THEMSELVES have created a perfectly usable blueprint for how to make it work, in their developmental program no less.
