If you do, how do you roleplay it especially if you are a Qunari?  The Qun symbol can't be tinted off when playing as a Qunari so it doesn't really make sense to be wearing that symbol as the Inquisitor.

Theres times roleplay takes a backseat, as said above the armours great just a pity BioWare put a unnecessary arse flap on it per usual thus ruining one of them.

 

They do seem to love there arse flaps on armour in this game, freaking horrible tbh

I justify it with my qunari Inquisitor based on my headcanon backstory.

I bought it for the statues, but those armors are sadly low level. Why did you do this BioWare?

I don't but Bull Dorian and Vivienne do. Bull wears Shokra-taar, Dorian and Vivienne wear Antaam-saar... and Josephine uses the bed

The superb Antaam-saar schematic is pretty good, 28 utility slots according to the wiki. No reason to complain about that one.

I hate the non-plate armors on Iron Bull, so if I can make a Shokra-taar that is of a higher level than anything else I have or can craft I give him that. I mean, who the hell would run around as a warrior using melee weapons at point-blank range bare-chested?

I cannot be sure as I was weaving in and out of pillars too fast to really get a good look at him, but I think "The Arishok" answers your question.

I found the stats inferior to the dragon hunter armour from JoH, so no.

Its the best looking armor for light armor females, so yes I actually bought it.   One of the few equipment packs I have ever purchased.  

 

Looks beat out effectiveness in this game too since game difficulty isn't a concern.

I used it. I'm a Qun, so it fits. Light one, I'm a mage. But now I changed it for a better one...

I got it, but don't use it really.

How to legitimize all the bare chested look is really up to which of the two 'Quns' you believe in more.

One is the Qun we came to know of in the first game through Sten. No nonsense set of rules and regulations based on (at least to most extent) reasoning and logic. Those guys wouldn't go into battle half naked because it's just stupid.

Second is the Qun of DA2 and DAI. Still supposed to be sensible but greatly expanded and pretty much makes all Qunari warriors act and dress like blood thirsty reavers.

No wonder they can't defeat Tevinter despite having superior technology. All their dudes just die or are incapacitated after one hit.

You can get full Plate Armor Iron Bull, just give or craft Battlemaster Mail and there you go.
