Crafted light armor has the highest Crit Chance possible for light armor (even without arms and legs) which has some use for stuff

Actually you can tint the symbol. I dyed the armor in red but my elf is wearing it, so I tinted the symbol so it doesn't scream Qunari per se.

For the female Inquisitor the armor can pass for a non-Qunari so my Lavellan has been wearing it.

I wear it cause it's the kewlest armor for the qunari. The symbol doesn't matter to me.

If I could boost its stats, I'd wear it more often and I'm an elf! :D

How can wearing the symbol not mean anything to you? That would be like wearing a Nazi swastika if you hate the Nazis.

That's assuming I don't agree with the Qun though.

Damn, your Qunari is fk hawt.

Thanks. Its a slightly modified version of the arishok sliders that are available in my signature if you're interested.

I've tried both on my main human lady Inquisitor. I didn't bother coming up with a reason for her to wear it. "I felt like it, I do what I want" is something My Inquisitor would say if questioned about it haha.

You haven't lived until you've faced down a Dragon (and even Corypheus) while wearing a belly-dancing outfit for absolutely no good reason at all.

or went hunting for red Lyrium smuggling operations in the other outfit..

If you do, how do you roleplay it especially if you are a Qunari?  The Qun symbol can't be tinted off when playing as a Qunari so it doesn't really make sense to be wearing that symbol as the Inquisitor.

The same way you do anything from any of the other customization packs, you just use the stuff because it looks cool. Seriously, why would an Inquisitor use anything other than the "Inquisitor" style customization, like in Skyhold? It's all hand-wave headcannon stuff. All of it.

I tried playing a Qunari, once. For me, it sucked. That, and a dwarf. Couldn't take either one seriously enough to finish a play through.

Actually the female version of the armor is cool as hell. Not only does it show some skin (something necessary in any game- you don't have to use it just have it), but this also generates a costume that has a bit of a "Arabian-sinbad the sailor" type of feel to it that actually makes me want to restart and play from the get go as a ship loving seafaring character- even though this game is entirely landlocked....

It generates IMO a totally new feel to a "female bikini" look. Obviously they did something to be based off Bulls awesome basic look.

I just can't figure if warrior or rogue human would be more appropriate.
Unfortunately the light costume looks silly on a dude....

With the golden bug I can swap schematics to get certain blades for their "look" earlier on.

I cannot be sure as I was weaving in and out of pillars too fast to really get a good look at him, but I think "The Arishok" answers your question.

ETA:  Ayep...

lol Exactly how I did my fight :)  Felt like everyone watching the fight should have had popcorn and other snacks for how long it took hehehe

Actually the female version of the light armor was in a comic or something, and some concept art from DA2.

Is the qunari version tintable now? And the skin problem fixed?

If so, I'd like to get it. It's pretty. I don't have a problem wearing faction gear, for me it's more about whether my character would wear that style personally. E.g. would my practical, tomboyish rogue wear a belly-dancer outfit? Probably not. Would my stylish, elegant knight-enchanter, who relies on barriers for protection anyway? Sure!

Since there is neither an environment nor a situation that would fit this "armor". no, I don't. I made one right at the start, and an upgraded one later, but I never used it.

Ask me again when my home is in a warm place and I'm not fighting all the time when I'm not there. Ask me again when I'm living in a villa in the Imperium or on a ship as a pirate of Rivain, A freezing place ike Skyhold and a role in a stuffy religion, no, that doesn't feel right at all.

Yeah, you can tint it on everyone but Qunari characters. I would very much like it if that little bug was fixed.

But you would bake in the desert regions in plate armor.

I have not and will not buy this DLC because it is content that could have been included in the Trespasser DLC but instead used for extra money.

I am not going to be a drone for EA's convenience.

I still read about bugs in the system so I haven't bought it yet.

No wonder they can't defeat Tevinter despite having superior technology. All their dudes just die or are incapacitated after one hit.

Well, they have fullbody armor but only wear it when they are at war. They do not see the conflict with Tevinter as a war.

No. I wish I did, but the horrible neck seaming and issues with skin colour not matching on Qunari characters ruins it for me.

The symbol doesn't bother me though.
