Hello there ! :-)

This is my first post, so I hope I won't commit any mistake.

I just finished my first DA:I playthrough last week (it was also my first DA game - I plan to play the previous two as soon as possible though), after 312 hours (I am a slow, completionnist player), and I saw today the annoucement trailer of the Trespasser. It is said to be the last story-driven solo DLC, so I guess there won't be any major addition to the game, but that doesn't necessarily means there is noting more to come.

So I thought we could discuss what we are hoping for after Trespassers. Here's my suggestion list.  :-)

Things to fix:

The creature research system. Many creatures don't drop research items, some creatures aren't researched after the third item has been given in.

The missing square on one of the mosaic.

One throne ornament (the first one of the two to be obtained in Crestwood) was never obtained in my playthrough.

The Vir Banal'ras can't be equipped by Sera.

Multiplayer additions:

A Deep Roads map, an Avvar-themed map and a Qunari fortress or war boat map.

New opponent types: Bandits, Carta, Promisers, Sha-Brytol, Darkspawn and Ghouls, possessed Wardens, Hakkonites, Qunari...

Bigger solo additions (I don't think we should hope for any, but who knows):

A DLC which would transform some War Table operations into playable campaigns. This would arguably not be a « story-driven solo DLC », as it wouldn't introduce new stories but just flesh-out some of the existing ones.
These playable war table campaigns would require to send a « secondary team ». Secondary teams would be made of Inquisition agents like those we recruit or those of the multiplayer mode (the choice would be restricted, depending on which advisor is chosen) or of members of the Crew, the Bull's Charge or the recruited Wardens, depending on the mission.

Playable missions would include the « operation chains », the Inner Circle missions, the operations linked to the Inquisitor's specialization and the operations unlocked by the « Sit in Judgement » events.

A new ending to the « Demands of the Qun » quest could be provided, by starting a campaign when the Inquisitor makes his or her choice, and letting us control the Chargers, and possibly survive the otherwise fatal encounter.

An expansion could allow us to play as the baddies, possibly during the parallel time created by Alexius.  Corypheus would have Florianne, Calpernia and Samson as advisors and some other Companions to be determined (and also secondary teams of agents for the war table campaigns). We could additionnally create red lyrium mounts and pets, craft alliances with the Order of Fiery Promise, awakened Darkspawn, the Sha-Brytol and the Hakkonites and obtain related banners and decorations, which could then be synced with Inquisitor playthroughs using the Golden Nug.

Smaller solo additions:

Let us craft accessories. Add upgradable vitaar recipes.

Add a poisonous gas grenade, an invisibility tonic, a magical power tonic, a magical resistance tonic, an antidote potion, a tonic preventing the status alterations. Add an upgrade to the Healing mist which removes all status alterations.

Make sure that the schematics corresponding to all items (including the DLC items) are available somewhere (possibly after the unique item itself is found), for example in the Black Emporium.

Enrich the Inquisitor skill tree with the following abilities: Closing a rift provides more rewards (unlocks unique rewards); Disturbing a rift takes less time; Disturbing a rift provides additional damage/effects on the Demons; Disturbing a rift heals and/or boosts the Companions; Rift explosion (the ability seen in the trailers for The Descent and Trespassers).

Add a recruitable taxidermist in Halamshiral, near the trophy room. It could adorn Skyhold with a new upgrade: a museum/trophy room where researched creatures would be exposed. Once High Dragons are successfully reserached, there would be a room where a High Dragon trophy would be exposed. The Inquisitor would have to choose which Dragon is displayed in the Undercroft, the list would include all the Dragons that have been slained already, plus The Guardian if The Descent has been completed. If the player owns a Mass Effect game, a Kroggan head would also be displayed. The museum would provide a regular amount of gold, from nobles who came to visit it.

Make the keeps in the Hinterland, in the Exalted Plain and in the Fallow Mire claimable, as well as Caer Oswyn, Therinfal Redoubt, the Adamant Fortress, the Shrine of Dumat and the manors in the Emerald Graves. All of them could then be repaired and upgraded.

Let us rebuild Haven and the Temple of Sacred Ashes in the post-game.

Some websites mention an Inquisition perk named « Deeds renown » which would let bards sing about the Inquisition in various places, but it is not available. It would be a nice thing to add though.

It would be nice to meet and interact with the important visitors about whom Josephine occasionnally talks.

Let that dwarf stay in Skyhold even after the mosaics are completed.  Also let the advisors of all specializations stay in Skyhold after a specialization has been chosen.

New collections. A collection of rare birds (or other flying things) – displayed in Leliana's tower. Pets – the Inquisitor could choose one of them in the Undercroft to inhabit his or her room, possible pets would include the miniaturized creatures from the Black Emporium. Paintings and sculptures – displayed around Skyhold. Monumental sculptures – Adorning the bridge of Skyhold.

Add war pets: domesticated monsters/creatures like a mabari, which can be « equipped » by a character and who will accompany them and fight to protect them but can't be controlled. They could have some ability tree though.

Allow us to rebuild the other bridge in the Emprise du Lion and add some level 27 or more super-boss Fade-touched High Dragon on the other side of it, next to a powerful rift, or some similar nightmarish fight.

Add a « breath of Hakkon » freezing grenade recipe in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC.

Add three types of Helms of the Dragon Hunter schematics (cloth, leather and metal) and the corresponding vitaar recipe to the Jaws of Hakkon DLC. Add as well a Dragon Hunter weapon set and Hakkon's something shield, armor sets and vitaar.

Make all the ennemies in The Descent researchable.

Add a domesticated Cretahl mount through a Deep Roads Expedition, once the Cretahls are successfully researched.

Add lyrium-infused Bianca upgrades, a lyrium-infused vitaar and an earth shaker « grenade » recipe. The earth shaker would have to be planted in the ground and its user would have to go away from it in other not to be wounded. It would deal physical and lightning based damages.

If the Red Lyrium Reapers weapons are available, add the corresponding schematics to the Undercroft seller, and the codex entries seen in the promotional videos. Add Red Lyrium Reapers bow, double handed weapon and Bianca upgrades. Additionnally, if Dagna produced a rune to shatter Samson's armor and if the player didn't shatter Samson's armor, Dagna could produce three full set of Red Lyrium Reapers outfits schematics and Red Lyrium Reapers vitaar recipe. When the player has unlocked and fully upgaded the earth shaker and the lyrium potion recipe, then Dagna also creates a Red Lyrium Reapers earth shaker recipe and a Red Lyrium potion recipe.

A « Spoils of the Elves » DLC with City Elf, Dales and Sentinel-themed mounts, schematics and decorations. I think that only the Sentinel shield is available so far.

A « Spoils of the Deep Roads » DLC with Legion of the Dead, Silent Sisters, Sha-Brytol, Shapers and Darkspawn themed mounts (like awakened ghoul-horse, ghoul-hallas, ...), decorations and schematics.

A « Spoils of the Inquisitor » DLC with items linked to the Treveylan family, the Lavellan clan, the House Cadash and the Valo-Kas company.

A DLC containing all the promotional items: those from the Logitech promotion, the Radeon one, the Prima guide one, and the Master Studies items.

Introduce more diversity in the tarot card illustrations corresponding to various codex entries.

Remove some limitations like the Inquisition perk cap (so we can give our Inquisition ALL the perks) and the hard level cap at 27. Add more halla in the Winter Palace.

Other:

Add the music from the trailers and the DLCs (especially that epic Darkspawn nest music) to the playable OST on the Origin app.

Well, that's all I have been able to think about.

Really, you have a lot of great ideas, but unfortunately it's been stated this is the end of DLC and patch support for DA:I. At least singleplayer. Not 100% confirmed if multiplayer is done yet. So none of this will happen anymore :(

Ah ok.  Oh, I thought it was the end of the story-driven DLC only, not of the item-sets DLCs and patch support. Ah, too bad... :(

End of patch support too? Wow, that sucks.

Come to think of it, I may have spoken too soon. I can't remember if they confirmed that. The patch that's due next just seems very final. I definitely hope there will be more though, because there are still things that need patching!

Sorry for the confusion!

My hope is that we get to follow through with romancing Harding, kind of like how the Citadel DLC allowed us to follow through with the Samara romance in ME3.

The missing square on one of the mosaic.

This was already fixed in one of the recent patches, but it doesn't apply retroactively so if you alredy have the hole it will stay that way.

Ah alright. Woof, got a bit scared there for a sec. Really hope they patch the Qunari armors for male Qunari. Those neck seams and the skin color issues really mess up the believability a bit. Not to mention the tinting of the armors.

I don't know about you, but I do not enjoy content that comes to an odd, abrupt halt. Now had Harding not been built up as a potential romance at all, I might not care that much about it. But the devs made a romance arc for Harding, and didn't complete it. That, I find unacceptable. It would have been better had they not done any work on it at all.

They pretty much confirmed on tweets that they're moving on after this DLC and the next big patch. I figure they will come back for a patch or two if people keep reporting bugs or whatever. The MP is still being developped and moderated by a separated team and since next-gen is pretty new and Mass Effect Andromeda isn't out yet, I figure there will be new updates for the MP for months to come.

The Darkspawn Chronicles dlc from Dragon Age: Origins allowed players to experience an alternate world state where you led a team of darkspawn to victory. In that parallel world, the Warden died in the joining and his companions continued on in his/her stead to no avail, with the forces of the Archdemon victorious in the end.

What you are suggesting sounds like that, and I believe that it would have made a fantastic dlc. Unfortunately Bioware isn't the same entity these days and I doubt that they even considered doing something like this, but it could have been epic!!

Yes, I read about this DLC, and that's whence I got the idea.  That and the fact that Corypheus "team of advisors" quite well mirrored the Inquisitor's.  :-)

Here's what I hope for after Trespasser, patches to fix some glitches v.v The Wyrm Hole and Weeding Out the Bandit's error is still existing, enemies won't spawn. Cole's Hat schematic removes his hair along with the Assassin's hat. Iron Bull's Dread Schematic is still considered vitaar instead of a helmet like the original helmet so it appears in cutscenes when the original helmet didn't. And much much more. I really hope this isn't the end for Single Player patch support because there's still so much for this game to be patched up.

Also concerning the Vir Banal'ras that can't be equipped by Sera , I'm pretty sure it's becuase it clearly states the wearer needs to be Elf-trained, and Sera is technically Human trained so all Elf equipment doesn't work on her regardless.
