No this isn't another thread on whether Cerberus (or simply its ideology) should return in MEA.

It is a bad idea to bring them back.

However them not appearing, does not mean the theme of humanity vs itself should be thrown out.

Do you think more then 1 human faction should exist?  Maybe one that is hostile to our character?

Or should all of humanity in Andromeda, be united in common interests in this game?

I do think whether Man vs Man appears in this game, depends on how many humans traveled to Andromeda.

Anyways if we do see this theme in MEA, I want the hostile humans to be quite different then Cerberus.  Not anti-Alien, and don't make them the same/similar kind of evil as the humans we have been fighting in the other 3 games.

An easy way to do this would be to have a powerful mercenary group, led by someone like Helena Blake.

I would rather their be potential mutinies than some enemy human faction.

I wouldn't mind seeing an individual lose their nerve over some misplaced ideals at some point. But an entire faction? No thanks.

I'd prefer an army of Udina clones.

I think it would be interesting if the "bad guy' wasn't an unknown or a galactic entity, but a group of people/aliens. It would be nice to have a main antagonist that can be personalized. Mass Effect rarely had that. It was usually dumb lackeys or smart mind-controlled minions. I mean thinking back, every major bad guy is not their own person.  Kai Lang was a late addition and seems somewhat random.

The Dragon Age series had Logain and while Hawkes enemies were people, it always had less focus on the people themselves and more the unrelenting misery that they can never avoid. Moms killer isn't as important as mom dying. The Arishock makes it clear he is unhappy to be there, and frankly seems to be on the right side. And the Mage/templar debate which must end basically the same. It matters less who causes the tradgedy and more that tragedy is unavoidable. Even Corypheus is more like sovreign in his power and totally alien motives.

So I guess I mean is I would love some more serious Man VS Man but not necessarily human, but definitely relateable villains. (In that they have somewhat human motivations and ideation) I want something where the Illusive man or Saren are the main bad guys, not trying to destroy the galaxy, but their own villainy schemes.

It is uncharted territory where other species already exist and we're out there in the thick of it for (at the time of posting this) unknown reasons.  To say that there are a few parallels between Andromeda and the Wild West wouldn't be all too far fetched.  Even the E3 trailer supports this, playing a song about cowboys and showing a shootout in a barren desert with plenty of tumbleweeds.

Based on this, I think most people, regardless of species, will be in it for themselves.  We're bound to see those who seek to bring order to the chaos and those who'd rather take advantage of it.  Even after all of the exploration and traveling, I think players are going to find themselves deciding which category they fit into.

Pretty much this.

You can have the human vs. human aspect without the human supremacist element Cerberus represented.  The "disagreement" could be over the approach each group thinks they should adopt collectively in dealing with the new alien races.  One group might want a suspicious, hard-line approach while the other thinks openness and diplomacy is the way to go...which could lead to infighting and backroom dealings, possibly open confrontation.  This should of course extend to all the races who came from the Milky Way since we'll be a multi-racial society wholly dependent upon one another in order to survive.

I'm in favor of having humans counted among our enemies.

I prefer games, stories, and settings where factions aren't divided strictly along racial lines. That always has uncomfortable connotations to me.

Id say that if they were to include an opposing human faction, it has to be either a form of mutiny or a crime syndicate; cause i dont really see any other kind of organised faction being that early in a new galaxy.
