God no. I am thankful that Sera is not available for male Inquisitors because Sera is a lowbrow of the highest degree. What worse is that she remains a lowbrow brat throughout the game. You can't talk to her without facepalming.

Josie is somewhat appealing because she is not a full on Andrastian like Cassandra is and she is someone you can talk to without compromising what your Inquisitor is and what he or she stand for.

Which is exactly why I suggested Sera ... a romance that puts you conflict with your general perception as Quizzy. Plus racial diversity carrying forward from DA2.

For those who wanted to know what Cass looks like as an 80's metal singer with long hair. Enjoy.

^^^ They should have kept Sera dual and Josie as female only.
You can't find greater contrast than Sera and Cassandra

That'd be a little nonsensical, considering Josie expresses attraction to Thom Rainier.

Obviously that would change if my premise had been the option which was implemented ... Sera also has good things to say about Blackwall in some dialogues. not to difficult for writers to stretch it more .... also no harm in giving human males an extra romance option by making both Sera and Josie (human specific) as Bi ... elf females do get 3 male straight romance options

I don't know, it makes a good bit of sense that Sera isn't attracted to men, I mean she is still for all intents and purposes the perfect caricature of the typical immature teenage boy  :P

The part where this conversation often goes south is when the implication is carried with it that the "straight man" in question has tastes that apply to all straight men, as if there were a universal standard of beauty that all straight men subscribe to. Perhaps they're trying to say the options lacked someone "conventionally attractive" enough...which may just be a way of them dancing around trying not to say "why didn't you give me a hot, buxom babe?"

Speaking as a straight male, I find nothing at all wrong with the idea of a "hot, buxom babe"  But at the same time there's something to be found in the tough, no-nonsense fighter who's not classically beautiful like Cassandra as well (I'm one of those who wished we could have romanced Aveline in DA2)  Or even the "Disney Princess" romance of Josephine.

So yep, I'm perfectly happy with the DAI choices.  And I thank you for them.

She's actually got amazing tits. They don't go all flat and spread out or veer to either side when she's lying on her back. It's like they've been magically reinforced. Magic tits. Cass has magic tits. Fact!

Getting excited about game nudity? Better go look at the porn sites for the real deal. That's exciting.

I am so glad I am not the only one who got the "Disney Princess Vibe" from Josephine's romance. I almost hurled watching the conclusion to the duel with her fiance and the whole "I love you" "You do?" "He Does?" I know Morrigan would have set someone's head on fire after witnessing that.

And despite being atheist in real life I always play a straight-up Andrastian because in a world with magic, demons and no diarrhea medication I probably would be a a bit more spiritually inclined. So I always go with the Cassandra romance, and she is an excellent character to fit such a role.

The Josephine romance has been called a "Disney Princess" one for some time.  Usually derisively.

But the thing is, I still like it.  It's fun People may sneer at it, but I still like "classic" romances too.

SO for myself, I have a hard time deciding whether I like Josephine or Cassandra's better.  They're different, but One's not necesarilly better than the other

I am a bi male and did not care for the options, either.

Females have the only decent choices: Solas (cat is crazy, but the romance itself was nicely done) and Cullen.

Damn shame about Harding. Were she an option, she would instantly be #1 to me.

That's not possible: cats are evil, while Solas is supposed to be an ambiguous figure. Completely incompatible alignments.
