How does the passive Strength of Spirits work exactly ? Does it increase the amount of Barrier ? Or does it do something else ? Is it worth picking up ?

Well how it works, is any Barrier you cast (The mage with strength of spirits) will have an additional 50%. I.e if your normal barrier was 1000, with strength of spirits it will now give a barrier for 1,500. this doesnt stack with other mages. Hope it helps.
