Sure, I looked at the resource thread. But then I thought, "Actually looking for information? This is the internet. I want quasi-factual answers and I want them nao! (But I don't want to have to do any work for it.)"

So what did they do with armour values? I've read in a few threads that they've been raised, so I'm guessing it was a balance change from a few months ago that I never noticed (I don't play very often so I'm generally way behind on these things.)

I don't think I've tried Perilous in many months, probably since long before the armour changed. Is it noticeably easier now?

Not quasi-factual enough.

Not quasi-factual enough.

The numbers, that are like, next to each armor, are higher or something than they were before, I think.

Yes.  Armor can go up to 184 (I think), which is more than double what most of them were before (I think).

Kits have more armor. Lots more armor. to the point where you can't die in routine with the top tier armor without waiting about 30 mins.

This makes you take less damage in perilous. So perilous is easier.

You could just fire up the game and try a perilous match. Or do you not have 15 minutes to spare?

Physical dmg is calculated from base enemy dmg - Armor

So if an enemy has a base dmg less than your total armor score it is reduced to 1 dmg

If an enemy did 200 dmg and you raised your armor from 92 to 184 you reduced dmg taken by 86%

This way many attacks have been decimated

That sounds accurate, but you didn't call anyone a "scrub," so it's hard to know if you're right.

That sounds like a big change! Also it illustrates how amazingly unobservant that I am.

That sounds like a challenge. Is that a challenge? I can totally die in Routine in under 30 minutes!

Also, I am closing up the cottage and my Xbox is at home.

I tried that, but the templars never reacted when I called them "scrub."

Those weren't Templars.  Those were Silent Sisters.  If you played more often, you could tell the difference...;^)

In hindsight perhaps I've chosen poorly.

The TV that the PS3 is hooked up to is busted at the moment, anyway, so it wouldn't make much difference (until it is replaced, that is!)

Can't ask you to buy another copy of DAI tho well, maybe if you were an old gen player I could.

The TV attached to the PS3 is also the same TV attached to the PS4, so neither will be getting any use until we replace it. But once the TV is replaced, I could conceivably get a used copy for probably under twenty-five bucks.

Then I could look forward to the joys of playing with no accessories and basic Inquisition weapons.

How excited does that idea make me? How giddy an emotion does that thought bring me to?

In this scenario, there would be much currying. :P
