I believe a dev said it would be around the same time, maybe a day before

Typically the patch lands a shortly before the DLC, since the DLC requires the patch.

 

Note I am just saying typically

Especially since the day before is a holiday for both US and Canada (Labor Day).

 

And it is NOT crunch time for any Dragon Age.
