Thrown Shepard into the beam, therefore made him enter every organism in the galaxy and intruding deep inside them, changing their lives forever.
I didn´t romance a character, I romanced a galaxy.

So Shepard became the biological research station at Big MT? ![]()
Honestly if Toad suddenly appeared and told me the princess was in another castle that would make more sense in setting than the synthesis ending. That is how bad the writing was on that one. Really everyone in the entire effing galaxy gets magic beamed into a synthetic creature? And now supposedly everyone lives in harmony because every other reason for killing has gone with it? The reapers no longer need to liquefy people in order to reproduce, heck the reapers are already synthetic beings why do they change at all? While humanity etc is now synthetic they still have lots of fleshy parts to liquefy, why/how does this ending change anything?
While the concept of destroy makes sense, the idea that every AI in the galaxy has the same reaper code is just stupid, and even if they did a reaper code seeking beam of energy is pretty absurd in itself. A initiate self destruct code for the reapers I could buy, this not so much. But as a decision to make at least it makes some sense.
Control is the only one where it isn't absurd on its face that it actually happens. Not sure having Shepard as the new god in the universe really is a solid plan, might be cool the first hundred years but that crap would drive anyone insane. And then you are back to the reaper threat.
