Skyhold better not be lost or destroyed. I like that place. Despite it basically just being a prop with all of its potential remaining untouched, it's become home.

I'm betting that Orlais retakes possession of Skyhold since they owned it. They only allowed it to be used by the Inquisition because of the Corypheus threat.

No Skyhold, how sad. That means me and Sera will have to rough it out on the cold ground at bed time.
So legit question are you talking about sexy bed time or just sleeping

Orlais did own it a Duke from Orlais did and the Current Ruler had to actually negotiate Fereldan for it before they could fully own it. So i don't think so I'm thinking they just were not able to return do to the threat being to prevalent at the time.

You're talking about Haven and the surrounding area of the Temple.
Skyhold doesn't belong to anyone when we discover it. Unless you count the spiders and birds likely nesting there before the Inquisition arrives.

Er, well it may not be the personal property of any person, but it is/was within the borders of the Empire of Orlais, just like Haven was within the the borders of the Kingdom of Ferelden.

If they do that, it's taking away quite a lot of player agency. So, what, all Inquisitors are just going to lay down and let their base get "repossessed"? As if! Not only that, but if we truly can "decide the fate of the Inquisition" and we lose Skyhold, well, not much of an Inquisition to continue.

I get the impression with this DLC that once complete there is no reason to have skyhold as well you wont be adventuring anymore, the only option left will be to load another character or start a new play through, basically a dlc of no return, which tbh i dont mind as for me once the decision has been made as to what happens with the inquisition/inquisitor there aint no reason to continue that character
I think i heard them say there will be a nug statue available throughout the dlc to upload what you acquire so well yeah once done your done i guess

The thing is what does "Inquisition continuing" would actually mean?
In my mind the organization will eventually replace the templars/seekers/circle under some terms decided by the player.
A neutral ground between two borders? (And a likely profitable one since you'll be able to taxe some of the trade passing by).
Not to mention the bulk of your army was composed of folks that will likely return to their farms in their respective nation?
I mean it's hard to tell until we play the DLC since that kind of problems weren't really addressed in game (except the confrontation in Haven with Josephine and the Marquis).
