I think yes, the DLC will be story focused.
Do you think Bioware implemented some things from Witcher 3 into Trespasser?

Story-focused? Never has such a thing occurred before.

No. I want drown in the tears and lamentions of the trolls who already hate the game. For lo, it will be a great triumph and prove that Bioware will not yield to the pressure of the loud and uncouth, but will stay the course!
In other words: **** NO!
According to Laidlaw the DLC will be heavily story-focused. That in itself is more closer to Witcher 3 than DAI vanilla. Also, i think they'll ditch fetch quests after the backlash.

I'd kill for some Thedasian Gwent.
That would be so great

That, however, I am 100% in favor of.

If we're going to add card games, add ones that aren't inspired by Magic.

Bioware always takes from other things. DA4 will be a Witcher DA, like DAI was a Skyrim.

I hope not.. can't really see where the Witcher 3 did much better than DA:I... so it would be a step down to me.
Side quests, cinematic convos, cohesive storyline, focus on the story, no mmo grinds....
Bioware could learn a lot from Witcher 3.

If they did I hope they do a better job ripping off W3 then they did Skyrim.
When ME:A comes out will we use W3 or FO4 as the comparison?

What backlash? I haven't seen any cohesive backlash regarding any Bioware products since Hold The Line.

There will always be fetch quests in games/RPGs, TW3 even has fetch quests

I've played both, a lot. I love both, a lot. There's as much meandering in Witcher 3 as there is in Inquisition.

You can't have "fetch quest" be the catch-all label of a fault in the game. Finding Sten's sword was technically a fetch quest, but it actually has a meaningful impact on one of your companions.
