Coming back after a hiatus & playing around with some final build ideas I've never tried. Anyone have an interesting melee build for Human Vanilla Adept? He/She has a nice fast heavy melee I want to take advantage of. I'm trying to find a build that gels all the powers, not just a BE master with the top row of Fitness. (Kinda hard to melee something you just hit with Singularity or Lifting Shockwave...)

Not my best gameplay, but you get the idea. Pretty fun, but squishy to burst fire. Other can provide better gameplay I'm sure.

I skip warp, max the rest (the other alternative is to skip passives or split shockwave and passives).

Singularity is good for staggering shielded humanoid enemies. Singularity > get closer > melee. Melee all the things with this - it has a nice multiplier against armor too. Singularity + shockwave is a good way to soften spawns and to deal with bosses.

Venom/Eviscerator/Wraith + omni-blade.

Scorpion + melee stunner or Falcon + omni blade (with a CSMG secondary) works well too

This is what I'd use.

Skipped detonate on Singularity b/c most things aren't going to survive long enough for the 20 seconds to finish up. You do miss out on the 6+6 BE, so if that were super important to you you can adjust as you like. Plenty fast cooldowns.

Warp is worth 4 imo b/c bosses, Shockwave I would use to detonate both Warp and Singularity.

If you're worried about floating enemies, could skip Singularity I guess, and go just Warp and Shockwave. I don't see any issues with that as far as utility goes.

Geth Scanner for obvious reasons, could also go Martial Biotic or Berserker, also for obvious reasons.

It's supposed to be 'okay', HAs have a strong melee, it's just not always easy to pull off.

Xcal made a pretty good video about it with commentary.

HeroicMass swears by this particular character's melee. Not sure how he does it but if he endorses it, it must be either really powerful or really fun. Or both.

Projects a reasonable cone of effect, does extra damage vs protections, lots of force, very fast.

Fun kit.

Melee thread gets krogan stamp of approval.

Mwwrarrrr.

Heavy Melee with Singularity is pretty entertaining. Really fun build with the Graal or Venom but really hard to use on some maps versus some enemy types.

As annoying as the weapon is the Acolyte synergizes well if you're going to punch stuff in the face. Charge based and you can run, it stuns and staggers, has a shield modifier. Safest strategy is to punch things caught in singularity which generally kill them or launches them off the map. You can actually do a fair amount of damage without investing in the melee tree.
