"Subconsciously doing on purpose?" What?

It's also not all that subtle in the way a lot of men and women walk. Definitely noticeable. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of men/women that are in between, though.

I mean those people that try to look sexy when they walk, so they swing their hips a little more than necessary, and in time it just becomes something that they do. Like those guys that wear their pants around their knees and walk a bit too heavy because it's supposed to be masculine? Do you think they do it because it's in their genes? I don't think so.

Yeah, the differences are there, but you're not supposed to consciously notice them. When I look at the female animation (like the one I just watched, DA2 female Hawke) and if I immediately think "whoa there, someone really tried to make it girly", it means they tried too hard and exaggerated too much to the point of unrealistic. I immediately think of Jessica Rabbit, and she was a freaking drawn on cartoon.

As for Shepard, yeah, she was supposed to be a battle hardened marine, but she had her soft moments, too. I don't see the "little brother" thing at all & I don't really see the difference between her and those other characters that you mentioned. The only difference is that she's in the army, I suppose, so her attitude is a bit constrained by that.

Omg, look at his little feet and those dainty hands. Reminds me of all the times when Donald Duck tried to pass off as a lady duck in drag.

I'm pretty sure this would deter me from playing as a female. It's horrible.

They used the same female animation in DA:I, which is the primary reason I've not played it. One game's worth of trying to ignore that was more than enough for me.

It seems to be hip rotation on (presumably cisgendered) women and shoulder swagger for (presumably cisgendered) men. Note there is a little more hip rotation on the woman when she thinks someone is evaluating the sex appeal of her walk, not the side to side motion in that awful animation.

Of course, the female protagonist is apparently so desperate for sexual attention that she'll turn on the come-f***-me walk with every step she takes.

You know thinking a little on this, it really depends on what your definition of feminine is.

Really? My Femshep and Palmer seemed pretty similar to each other. I even made a Sarah Palmer Shepard.

Ugh Sarah Palmer.....

Reminds me of when FemShep tryed to devour Jacob.

I bet this will be kind of armor we will get because they would probably give it to us long time ago if they had more resoruces. If it's not femine enough because there is no buttcrack and cleavage then go away from me, you monster. I would be the girliest of girls in this armor. q.q

While I like it, it feel more like something you'd put on a pilot not someone on the front lines.  Without knowing MEA story, its hard to say how appropriate it is.

That would be cool armor, though I think it'd be nice if that's light or medium and there is bulkier for heavy armor.

I think it's cool for biotics as light armor. Wouldn't call it medium and definetly not heavy.

This for medium armor? Would even wear it as biotic. A lot of character this got's and this I want in armor.

This for heavy armor? Femine, stylish and heavy. :)

No canon shepard but it would be nice to see a Female protagonist in the initial trailer for ME:A. I'm really liking what Bioware is doing for the DA:I DLC trailers right now. They have featured the female inquisitor twice for Descent and Trespasser.

(edit- and I think everyone agrees that Alix Wilton Reagan did an amazing job with the line in the trailer)

I know I do

Why can't our Shep be morbidly obese with extreme social anxiety issues?

I'm offended!

Not sure if it's been mentioned but they could always use what Dragon's Dogma did when it came to the in-game walking animations.

That'd still leave the cinematics though...

Mass Effect: Andromeda is using motion capture for at least the cinematics.

Hopefully they use both sexes for those, regarding the protagonist.

I wonder if they are having two seperate animations for genders or is there either going to be only male animation for both genders or unisex animation. Oh well, I guess we will eventually find out.

Not that I've ever noticed. Your grammar is better than some native speakers.

You do an excellent job of expressing your thoughts in English, imho.

SUOMI PERKELE! cheers from your western neighbor ^^

But yeah, what BioWare needs to sort out is their animation and modelling, they are several years behind, and many other open world games absolutely puts them to shame.
