But then that could mean The Architect could have have been on of the magisters that broke into the city. Seeing as Corypheus saw the world to be still in ancient times when I woke up.

Just had a random thought. An started to make me wonder if The Architect and Corypheus maybe knew each other.

This has been confirmed by devs. They're both High Priests of the Old Gods and the magisters who breached the Black City. The Architect was the High Priest of Beauty under Urthemiel (the Archdemon of the Fifth Blight) and Corypheus was The Conductor, the High Priest of Dumat (the first Archdemon and the one he begs to help him at the end).

Afterward? There's no real evidence to suggest either way (we know three of them were heard arguing in the Deep Roads, but it could have been any of the seven).

The Architect was the first person Cory went to, to talk about his plans of entering the fade.

Really?
Where did we hear them talking in the deep roads?
And wouldn't it have been the other 3 because weren't their just 5?
So does this mean the others are alive as well?

That wasn't Cory, he went to sleep for awhile after the first blight before he was imprisoned. One of those three could have been the Architect.

Whaaaaaaaaa?
It's in WoT V2 and I'm paraphrasing a lot. Sometime after the first blight when Cory was running around he was imprisoned.
Then some centuries later 3 of the other magisters have an argument in the deep roads and have seemed to have forgotten their origins (unlike cory) One of them eats the other while the third runs off.

My guess is this was the Architect that got eaten this would explain his loss of memory and confirm that he's still alive post awakening regardless whether you killed him or not.

Whaaaaa how would he be alive if he got eaten?
And why would that cause him to loss his memory. I would have thought how ever the maker cast them out would have had a different effect on each maybe.

If all the Original Magisters have Corys power it could be possible. Would be interesting but strange.

True he could but Cory didn't lose his memory and he mainly died twice. But maybe the architect isn't as well versed in the spell as Cory it would be very interesting.
And for the other to run and for the one magister to eat one he must be very powerful. Where the heck is he in all of this mess.
I wonder if Flemeth and Solas know of them.

As for coming back from being eaten, we see Corypheus die twice. Once in the end of the legacy DLC for DA2 and once at the elven temple. By transferring his essence in to another body this allows him to come back to life both times, I wouln't be surprised if the Architect can do this same thing.

Yea I pointed out in my other comment that Cory comes back twice but doesn't lose his memory. But then maybe the architect isn't as well versed in the spell like Cory is. I just have always thought it was the being cast out and being turned into a darkspawn did it.Read this

What exactly in the lore keeps darkspawn from being cannibalistic?

No wonder why I didn't know what you all were talking to. I don't think I ever found this or maybe I over looked it and didn't read it.
Interesting I would guess Amuk met the architect then seeing that's the darkspawn was polite and all.
But those could have been the other 3 because even though they can come back after death it seems there needs to be something alive in the vicinity they can overcome and put their soul into. For Cory it was one of the wardens depending on your choice and the second time on of this red Templar warriors.
See where I'm going with it? If anything the one that ran could be the Architect.
