As topic.

This game had a great potential but it was wasted, what do u think guys? ll u be willig to spend real money for more MP dlcs (maps, chars, etc) ? I´m really sry to say it but i think DAI:MP life cycle is over so....should the team move on to the next game or should they be making paid (if possible) MP dlc?

I suspect the upcoming DLC is the last one anyway, considering the SP DLC coming out on the same day is confirmed to be the last. I hope they at least stick around for a month or two after it drops to fix the bugs they will inevitably make. The immediate drop in support for ME3MP after the release of Reckoning left some loose ends unfinished.

I would be happy to pay as much for new MP DLC as I have paid in the past for MP DLC.

Same team is working on Andromeda MP?   Anyway, I've talked to people I play with constantly a while back about paid dlc for MP many didn't like the idea. Many do not even come to the forum too. Some don't even play ME, they just never got into the series. If I do end up going back to ME, it's probably because some of the people still on my friends-list picked it up, these are people a few from different timezone that I played till like 5 am. Some of them like I bought points in ME3 because there was something worth unlocking and it was very early in ME3 MP. DAIMP just doesn't have the weapon and item progression that would make it worth buying platinum or paid dlc, item progression would of been nice.

Daimp is dead. I stopped playing it after they didnt do anything against exploiters. They should join the MEA team to make MEA MP greater then DAIMP ever was.

If it was the end they would have stated so (like they did for single player). Since they didn't there's more content coming.

I am not sure the DAIMP team would be working on MEAMP.

Some of them like I bought points in ME3 because there was something worth unlocking and it was very early in ME3 MP. DAIMP just doesn't have the weapon and item progression that would make it worth buying platinum or paid dlc, item progression would of been nice.

The problem I see is that in DAIMP, you are kind of locked into an engagement type.

Archers and casters want to be at range. Rogues and warriors want to be in melee range. (I know there is some minor variations to that).

Changing your weapon doesn't normally change this fact.

But in ME3MP, changing weapons could change your whole playstyle. Just unlocking a new weapon might change how you played, at least moreso than occurs in DAIMP.

For DAIMP, there is a best in slot weapon that you are aiming for. Maybe there is some variation for off hands for dagger rogues, but otherwise, the BiS items seem pretty definitive.

But for ME3MP, there just felt like more variety in terms of what weapon you could want to max out for your personal effectiveness.

Edit: I think this lead to more general replay ability and, most likely, way more RMT.

There was just more stuff you could get and not be disappointed. Whereas, in DAIMP, there seems to just be a smaller number of things you would want to RNG for.

Not to say I loved ME3MP RNG, just the difference as I see it.

Finish off what they're working on then call it a day and head on over to MEA or the mystery IP if that's going to have an MP component.

Honestly i would only want Luke to even be a part of the MEA team. Hopefully some of the old me3mp team will be working on it too.

Yep Luke should join the MEA Team asap. No need to patch a dead horse.

That's crazy talk, everyone knows you can only play ME3 multiplayer with a single lightweight pistol.

Never played ME3 MP, guess that's an option if/when I loose interest in DAIMP.. they should allow DAIMP to stay alive though imo since it fills a niche spot for those that enjoy morpg but DONT have tons of time..these people are a good target group commercially as most likely the lack of time to game is due to work which means disposable income..

I guess their METRICS showed them that if they'd take action against the people who abused the system actively they'd ban half their player base.

Stopped playing after they didn't do anything to exploiters lol. How can they the betas use them. Anywho what a joke not even a year old and only got support the last few months. Why even cancel the ps3? Which btw they failed ps3 players are still cheating. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is concerned about this. I mean I feel ripped off any other game has dlc until the next one comes out or arty least popular games do. Weak mass effect isn't even out and even if it was that's poor planning not to keep people dedicated to da after making people buy a ps4 Just to cancel. Talk about poor business. I wish them or ea would pull their heads out their rears before all their loyal fans are fed up. Games been out ~10 months first ~4 months mp got no attention. Then they finally fix key drop and if you count destruction as dlc added that. Then like what a map and 4 new characters in 10 months that's honestly pretty pathetic. M.e had how many maps and characters? The weapons and difficultys would have been better if they were retroactive... if the new characters have a challenge oh jeez we are so screwed. They can never quite figure out how to make things count. Maybe they will take their time and actually make da4 good. F m.e after hearing about that ending I'm gooood.

Also I'd say less than 1/8 of players actually abused the xp glitch. Even smaller if you use logic and take into consideration all the lost xp to bugs. I still like how people bring that up when its not pvp... the REAL cheaters been cheating since day 1 and still are...

I refuse to accept the exploiters complaint still. The population on XB1 isn't that much lower in relation to the fact that it almost never happens; unless they really are exclusively on other systems, then I shall not have said anything. It sure happens, and it shouldn't, but is that your primary reason for leaving the game forever? If it's not literally every second match, I would say that's more of a personal integrity issue.

Also saying "only Luke" should join another team because he's pleased you sufficiently enough by being the guy in charge of patches, is a fairly nasty thing to say. If for example Billy Buskell's official job description were "buffer of things and sharer of adorable cat videos", I wager he'd coincidentially be considered very  worthy, too.

Given that Bioware said that they would support DAMP far beyond ME3MP, my answer would be, for the time being, more DLC for DAMP.

I hope MEA MP doesnt have that stupid design that you are forced to promote your character to level 1 again and again to see improvement. If they introduce something stupid like that Im not going to play it. You will never be able to play a level 20 build without the awkward feeling that you lose XP and progression.

Anyway it wasnt just Luke who saved the game for some time. Also Fiddzz and a few others did some great work too.

I mean the MP part was pretty much dead after 2 months. Without them I wouldnt have wasted my time ;)
