so we got Darkspawn roaming the surface now where are the wardens. I think it should be a new class we get to play as and have a few Warden only skills that make for killing darkspawn a bit easier. any one else agree?

But yes, Hopefully a Grey Warden character is waiting to be unlocked.

Don't think it will happen yunno with them being puppets of Cory and all. Besides we got a grey warden already, Blackwall reporting for duty your worship, LOL.

You did actually play the game right or did you totally skip the portion that he was part of? The only other answer is you're trollin' so hard that your face should never lose the troll face.

They're basically a military faction specialized in killing Darkspawn. They have unilateral powers to coerce other nations and factions to fight with them whenever a new Blight occurs; a Blight being a time when Darkspawn invade the lands and an Archdemon commands them. You need a Grey Warden in order to kill an Archdemon, as anyone else killing it just destroys the body; not the "soul". This ends the Blight, but comes at the cost of the Grey Wardens life as well.

Let's recruit all the best people of the land, now lets make sure we don't tell them they could die horribly in the joining.  Now lets watch as 2 out of 3 of our best people in the land die to drinking dark spawn blood, oh and as an aside they are going to be sterile and oh they are going to die young.

If they weren't %100 necessary to stop blights, I doubt anyone would want them around.

The only time they are really needed is to give the killing blow.  Oh it helps to have the dark spawn sonar but they certainly do not need the numbers they have recruited at the cost of so many valuable people.

I've been hoping for a Grey Warden sword and board for a long time, but since Pala is supposedly a warrior it looks unlikely I guess there will be only 2 S+S warriors forever.

I'd rather have some gay wardens around for fun times. Gray Wardens are no fun.

I want a Qunari Grey Warden, preferably a sword and shield and just give him the rogue tag since plenty of the DA 2 Tal-Vashoth are using either a sword and shield or a javelin and shield and they're popping from Stealth.

You think Jory was very valuable?

Yes, very.  He was the top knight in his area and won that competition that led him to the wardens.  Mahairi was very valuable.  The Wardens don't recruit bums.
