The following is not a speedrun. More like a lamer run ![]()
Tactic is very simple for a 'Promotion Lord" on a 'Silent Sister"
- Loot goldz.
- Pick easy faction
- Hit as much as possible to cause fear.
- Rely on gear and PROMOTES to carry the run

Yep, time for a new difficulty.
Yep, time for a new difficulty.
Time for BioWare to reconsider putting lower caps on the limits that Dexterity, Willpower and Constitution scale up player capabilities. When two players with nearly identical gear can have wildly divergent damage outputs and damage soaking ability the problem isn't the difficulty levels, per se. Rather, they are in the basic assumption of potentially unlimited player improvement vis-a-vis the static difficulty levels.
Not taking anything away from Kmeeg's dedication to improving his game, and capabilities within it, but as a point of comparison I'll note that with my attacks against similar enemies in Perilous/NM, I am causing only 20-25% of the damage that Kmeeg is causing, and would hazard a guess that my effective HP are, at best, a third of his. This is after more than 700 hours of MP. In short, at the same difficulty level I am simply playing a completely 'different' game than he is. Mine isn't 'broken'....yet.
But, I still love it. Cue the Joan Jett video.
I think its an unfortunate flaw in the promotion mechanic, and the reason they probably cannot just bring it back for MEAMP.Time for BioWare to reconsider putting lower caps on the limits that Dexterity, Willpower and Constitution scale up player capabilities. "You must promote said the Lord"
-Unknown Promotion Lord anno 400 bpl.
High Promotes + Best Gear + Game Mechanism Familiarity = breaks the game!
Also, the more promotes, the faster you promote. Like it is very easy for me to solo perilous at level 1 with any none mage class.
On a side note, I had soloed another run just before I recorded the above run. I think it took 38 minutes, but I were not exactly trying to do any speedruns. I like goldz ![]()
I really do hope that they find some other system for MEAMP.
I did a run against the venatori last night but for some reason the windows 10 video recorder cut off after 1 hour. Fixed in settings... afterwards ![]()
The shield guys are VERY VERY VERY annoying when you need to kill multiple at same time. At the 1 hour mark the Commander and 3 of the DC were dead. I then screwed up and got myself killed by a lot of the fade cloak mages at the 1hr 3-5 min mark for some reason. It is most certainly doable, but I just need to get in the mindset of actually wanna bother with the damn shield guys again. They are SUCH a pain in the ... bum!
High Promotes + Best Gear +Game Mechanism Familiarity =breaksWins the game!
FTFY. There's nothing broken here. Luke could just as well make the darkspawn immune to panic and knockdown if he wanted to....That'd be difficult to deal with. Its usually one or the other. . . but some things are both.
Just imagine the darkspawn on Heartbreaker... just imagine it.

Not for long...... thanks Luke ![]()
How do people manage to get so high stats?
I would call myself veteran player and I have only like 1/4 of OP's stats.Do you play only DAMP or what?

Playing only DAMP for 8 months straight will do it.
Trust me.
Rely on gear and PROMOTES to carry the run
Finally. Someone with obscene stats admits this.
I think most people with obscene stats do.
LOL, watching the video. Did you just do a closeup at the beginning to show off the double-Hakkon's?
Mad jelly. Those hidden-blade numbers All of your abilities numbers make mine feel so puny. Except combat roll...nice build!
I think most people with obscene stats do.
No. Most people with obscene stats think its their 'superior knowledge of game mechanics' and 'strate skill' that makes them good, when in actual fact, they get carried by promotions and top tier gear.

I tried to get a few situations in the video:
1.10 Showing the Ugly Pala Face + is it a “beard”?
19.30 I did treasure rooms hoping for a Revenant. Notice the damage with Spinning blades ~850'ish before Throwing daggers. After throwing blades the revenants armor is lowered so much that the spinning blades do 1300+
23.30 Despair demons freeze. They really are high priority targets!
27.30 Cheese Wheels can be seen through the floor
42.20 I'm getting trolled by a shade

Maybe it's because I'm new here, but I've only seen the one.

freezeCHEESE.
That, was fantastic. I hate those things.
Last comment:
Demons Zone 5 is a joke.
Zone 4 > Zone 5
The Venatori Shield Guys are soo annoying to kill. I'm still trying to muster up enough 'Zen' to be able to deal with the Venatori Gladiators for a HB completion.
Here is 5 minutes footage of a run from the other day showing the Venatori Gladiators. The Demon Commander in zone 4/5 is quite "impressive" ![]()
Did a damn good job in that clip if you ask me. They really are just a royal pain in the you know what. Only thing that seems to work reliably is finding terrain where they can't reach you so they have to turn around and take a different path towards you, similar to how you used those boxes to sneak some blades above the shield.
Still beyond tedious.
PS: What's up with the DC getting 1-shot?
How is their strategy or skill when a player has 300 constitution and 400 willpower?
Ask Drasca, f*ck if I know.
