Yes, but you have mention to them that you want them back. They start off unselectable.

Yes you can , you just need to go and talk to the future divine after the end and say "Join me".

ok, once you start the DLC that gets released next week (epilogue/post game only dlc) that's it. it is a point of no return so if planning to do the first two that were released (Descent/JoH), you'll have to them first before starting Trespasser. If you wish to drag vivienne or cassandra through the first two DLC's and either got Divine then talk to them in Skyhold and ask them to stay in your party for a while (or in Cassandra's case she might beg to go bash something with a sword repeatedly, say yes come along haha). That way the Divine-to-be can be chosen in party select.
The final DLC, Trespassers, takes place 2 years after Cory-kill and the Divine, we are told, will take up a weapon again and join you in battle so should be fine on that front.

Is this confirmed? I find it very odd that the new Divine would be on the front lines after what just happened to the last one and the Chantry. Leliana is my canon Divine but I would be fine with Cassandra or Vivienne staying behind for the sake of story in my other playthroughs.

Yeah, it was confirmed in a Game Informer piece that came out not long after the trailer was officially released.

Wait where was it confirmed that the game ends after the dlc? We can't go back to Skyhold to do other stuff once we start tresspasser?

confirmed on twitter by Mike laidlaw. Skyhold is not featuring in the new DLC, we get a new hub (guessing in Orlais/winter palace area?) and he also said it was the point of no return once you start it because it's set 2 years after the end of DAI.
For the actual tweets, that requires shifting back through a lot of pages in the twitter thread which I don't have time to do right now. but here is a link to more info, not sure if those exactly are in here but it is more info regardless http://www.gameinfor...n-pax-2015.aspx
actually, never mind found one of them.

@user Trespasser is set two years later, so, yes it locks things down. A point of no return.

This if I understand correctly we don't have any companions at all. People who left left like Blakwall he is greywarden now or something else depending on events in game. My Dorian probably back in Tevinter. And somehow we can meet them and recruit again. I feeling this will be like "Screw you all I go pick up my friends and stop this alone." This will not be like Jaws of hakkon and Descent this will be more like Citadel people who left return.

It seems that some companions (or all, depending on your choices approvals etc) just show up at the Inquisitor's side again for the DLC. It does sound a bit like Citadel, that part. Definitely not akin to Descent and Jaws (except size).

Yes it don't make sense Clerics allow Divine just walk on dangerous adventure. But they find some stupid reason "I am divine I am do what I want"

Trailer focus on eluvians. We can teleport So it can be as simple as we "accidently" stumble on our companions.

It was confirmed through even the Trailer. You can see the divine is Vivienne but then later you see that she fights along side you in the later part of the trailer.

Looks like all of them. Dorian and Varric, regardless of your relationship with them, say that they're leaving once they defeat Corypheus and two years later they are back in the trailer. It's possible that they stuck around for two years but I would prefer if they returned out of friendship or barring that a summons from the Divine, though Dorian would be under no obligation to obey it. Perhaps the members of the Inner Circle who left will only return based on their approval of the Inquisitor. Having them just stick around for convenience after they say they're leaving is kind of cheesy. There is the question of Blackwall however. Isn't it possible to have him executed?

How does it not make sense for Cass to pick up some armor and a sword, more so if she is good friends with the Inquisitor?

Because it's not accustomed for a divine to involve herself in such a rule , it's not her duty , her duty is ceremonial.

Justinia I (the first Divine) was the general of Emperor Drakon, she was chosen because she represented both side of Andraste, she was a pious woman (the religious side) and a person of war (the warrior side of Andraste). So the Divine originally had both purpose, not only cerimonial.

Cass would jump at the oppurtunity to fight at the side of the Inquisitor again, divine or no. Leliana is a non issue as she is not a companion. Vivienne owes us big time for the hat and throne.

That was before she was coronated as a divine.

Considering that the Chantry was almost destroyed when the last Divine and obvious successors were killed it would be prudent for Cassandra, or any chosen Divine, to work on rebuilding and not risk more chaos with another Chantry downfall by putting herself in harms way when she could send soldiers and resources instead. Don't get me wrong, I love Cassandra, Vivienne and Leliana and welcome them back into the Inner Circle but it just doesn't make sense for them to risk their lives considering recent events. I could see Cassandra itching for battle despite concerns but not so much Vivienne.
