From the dev quotes that I have seen in the past and what has been presented in-game throughout the DA series is that Bioware really doesn't like having to deal with multiple story branch paths that the player can take.

 

The Hero of Fereldan is a good indicator. He is heading into the unknown to find a cure for the calling and by all appearances will not be coming back. Its merely a frail "hope" when you really think about what Morrigan says concerning Him if you had Him romance her in DA:O.

 

Having Hawke survive the Fade was fan service by Bioware as it really doesn't make any sense to have him/her survive and then suddenly go to Weisshaupt. If makes way more sense for a Warden to do so...especially considering the effort they put into making Varric have a scene concerning Hawke being in the Fade.

 

The Inquisitor will die or will disappear in some form or fashion. I wager that Bioware is going to burn its bridges with the Inquisition so they can start fresh with whatever Qunari themed DA4 they probably have in the works.

The Inquisitor is too important to die. Tied into too many storylines, like the Hero and Champion are.

I just hope that there is at least an option to kill off the inquisitor. Kinda like what we got with the warden.

Nah. I couldn't "sale" my game even if I wanted to. I could try to "sell" it perhaps, but that would be futile considering it is tied to my Origins account.
