yup -  I think that train has left. I still would absolutely love to hear the developers/designers rationale behind all those male bald/ buzz cut styles.

Because Bioware doesn't really give a whole lot of thought to CC in the first place, I feel.

 

Honestly, you'd think they'd realize that the players don't care about clipping as long as they can look pretty.

 

(although Morrigan's clipping was pretty bad).

I don't know about that as they normally do better than what they did in DAI. My thoughts are with this new engine for this game held them back a little bit. I can see it being improved though going into Andromeda and other Bioware games and hopefully the next DA games too. I've heard they are looking at some of these MMO's for inspiration for hairstyles and some of them do have some nice looking ones. So hopefully this will change going forward

Yes. Still the Qunari hair, model, animation, etc took time from the others races too.
Inquisition would be a better game without multiple races.

Honestly, I would not care if there were less of the similar shaved / baldy options. The effort needed to make them all was surely bigger than if they had designed just two or three more decent hairstyles. Quality, not quantity...

 

Same goes for the brows, the bushy ones seemed not that easy to design - wasted time...

 

But I am glad they gave us the options for mixing eye colors.

Yep. I truly think this team lacks the skill to create good hair. They also lack general tastefulness and a sense of style. Even the pajama outfits that were released with the latest patch are, well... that about says it all.

Because it still hurts when you play .... and even more when you create a new character.

and even more after you play a game in which hair looks like hair - flowing and moving  (TW3)... huge difference.
