I'm not going to criticize what you like or not.
But you can't say she looks like you want, because you know she could be better, look at Cassandra:
[snip]
Better texture, better make up, realistic colors.
Your elf, compared to Cassandra, is a bad mix of colors.
I do not understand the need to be conformist, when you could have a much better elf.
Maybe is just me, because I am not satisfied with a inquisitor with potato face.
Chose advanced art course in school. I'm trying to become a game designer one day. This picture of Cassandra has:
- different lighting (outside with natural lighting vs. inside with yellow lighting from candles -> totally different overall impression of a picture)
- a different perspective -> you see Cassandra from a bit of a side-angle
- probably higher quality texture, because my laptop can only run the game on medium quality with some high options sprinkled in there
- a team of people that worked on her design, character, textures etc. for months/years; so obviously you cannot compare a character in the making for years to the Inquisitors that were made in the CC; which on its own still has a TON of options, wonderful textures and great sliders
Also, please do note that I don't have to give someone colours that you, yourself, like. Different colours do not make a character better, as long as said character didn't have pink hair, yellow eyes, bright red blush and rainbow coloured tatoos beforehand. (and even those have a right to exist and be loved by the people that made them.) My character has kind of dark purple vallaslin, blue eyes and reddish-brown hair. I, myself, had purple hair mixed with brown, once, and have brown eyes. Heck, tomorrow I will walk around with red and orange hair. And I still wear my cyan T-Shirts. Does this mean I could be a better human if I wore only brown T-Shirts as long as I have red-orange hair? No. None of the colours that were used in the making of my character have an effect that is so contrasting that it takes you out of the immersion of the game. If it would have been the case, then I would have remade her character after two hours of playtime. (Also, I'd probably get a headache from looking at her.)
Still, if you do not like her, that is fine. But surely you cannot tell me that ALL of the Inquisitors you have EVER seen have such a bad colour pallette that it is completely unreal and immersion breaking. You know, Bioware chose to put all of those colours into the CC. The hair colours, the skin colours etc. If anything, they have a reason to limit that stuff. But what I chose is still in there, so it got the Bioware approval seal.
Btw, where is your Inquisitor? I'd like to judge their colour scheme.
