Cerberus, Hades, Odin, Ares.... it's a war dog remember. Any mythological beasts, or Gods for that matter, are a good choice.

On my first play through I named him Argos, after Odysseus' dog.



On my second, I named him Dane. It was sort of a nod to Hafter, the dog in The Calling. Dane and Hafter were both famous Fereldan heroes of yore, and both had rivers named after them.
