I entered the Suicide Mission with Miranda, Grunt, Professor, Garrus
and Jacob all loyal. I had romance with Miranda, so she didn't die but
Jacob, Professor, Jack, Assassin, Geth, etc all died. I know people die
according to your decisions but I was wondering if Bioware made it were
Miranda didn't die no matter what and Jacob did. Also, I'm playing on
Normal and I know it's not that hard but has anyone yet find out how
you can die?

I've had Jacob survive.

Blend of who you give each role to and loyalty.

I've had everyone survive. It's mainly loyalty and decisions. The decisions are pretty easy once everyone's loyal, you just pick who you know has the skills needed.

I figured out how to get my entire team to survive, but I'm not going to tell you guys. It's a matter of assigning the right people for the right role.



I did intentionally get Subject Zero killed. I hated her attitude.

If she survives. Remember, the mission has the chance of becoming a total disaster, getting all of your squad members killed.

Yeah I do. I don't see how someone could get everyone killed. But thanks.

I've watched Miranda die by getting taken up by the swarm in the second stage of the suicide mission. Of course, there is a bug there where she is still alive and kicking in the next cutscene...but she died at the end.

And apparently it takes a bit more than being stupid to get everyone killed, because I haven't managed to do it yet. I didn't do any loyalty missions, and I've been pooping on my squadmates (verbally, of course) every chance I get. I'm down to 3 squadmates left. If anyone knows for certain that you can kill everyone (not just "In Theory" or, "there's a chance to"), can you put up directions please? I want to make sure I've got that ending saved for ME3.. see how that messes things up. Another 2 years being rebuilt?

EDIT:  Thanks to the Forum, someone posted  the perfect bad ending for me.



It's a shame we can't transfer that save file into ME3.  Maybe they'll change their minds and put in a 10 minute cutscene specifically for the No Survivor Ending of ME2 where the Reapers destroy the universe? One can dream...

Casey Hudson has stated that if Shepard dies you cannot take that save into ME3. (1)
