So, skyhold outfits don't require a new UI, memory and and... after all huh?

But I'm sure you thought your point would be more impressive when you decided to make it.

Funny, because the patch introduces a new UI (the wardrobe interface) and drops support for the old consoles (which have about as much memory as a grain of sand).
But I'm sure you thought your point would be more impressive when you decided to make it.
The point, my dear, is that there's no reason for the current "parity" bullfeces, if a platform can handle it, it should have it, no discussion. And i'm biased towards the PC public here because we're getting the short end of the stick, the proof of that is the crappy UI and the botched control scheme in inquisition. And i would hardly call the wardrobe UI "new UI".

Quick reminder:
Just installed the new patch, quite pleased to finally being able to change outfits and wear something else than those awful PJs.
Now, fix the effin' tactical camera (i want edge pan, mousewheel zoom and transparent ceilings, where have i seen this, oh right, in DAO) and the idiotic PC ui.
What exactly is the point of insulting Bioware when they add things that we ask for? And in the future, we then expect them to listen to us again after complaining about adding in features we ask for?

Because they've butchered the PC version and did nothing to actually fix it? I still regret my 40 euros spent on this disappointement.

Nope, just make sure to remove the ceilings properly and add some blackness to avoid "holes" in the world, it takes some time but it's not that difficult.
So before actually going in to this discussion, are you an actual game designer able to produce accurater descriptions of work required? Or just someone who feels it should be easy because of a gut feeling?
In addition, when playing DAO, did you notice that when in tactical map your cursor was able to move over objects in the ground as if they were not there, but when not in tactical control those objects prevented the player character from going through them? Do you realize that literally requires them to produce two version of the map for those different viewpoints?
"The tactical camera is just what you would expect from Origins"- Elizabeth Lehtonen, Associate producer, Bioware.
Except it's not.
And I fail to see how this is a response to my comment about creating two maps being a resource sink. Do you somehow feel they are able to produce those vast maps twice with a minimal cost?
Wrong again, the lack of tactical view in DA2 is explained by the new more action-y direction the devs wanted the game to take. The only reason they've put it back in inquisition is because players asked them to.
There's stil no explanations as to why the pc players can't have a proper UI with detailed tooltips and easily accessible numbers, though...oh wait, it's because it's a basic concole port, silly me.
No, that was a partial reason for it and it aided in the fact that they didn't need to create those two maps for it. Besides, I am now really curious over your choice words, do you actually have a DA dev statement on that or is this again a gut feeling on your part? Especially since when discussing the return of the tactical map in DAI, Laidlaw specifically mentioned how they would not create two maps this time like tey did in DAI.
And by the way, what exactly is your overall point here? Why do you feel they haven't done these things if they are so easy?
