I might be slone in this opinion since so many here seem to prefer Unbowed over War Cry(I've always felt differently) but Livid seem to work really well, if not better than Unbowed.

Especially for 2 handed warriors, seeing Black Wall & Iron Bull absolutely rape mobs and elites by themselves after popping this ability is really impressive, synergies well with War Cry once you have a group taunted then use Livid and with Cutting Word adding damage on top of the boost you get from Livid its insanely good imo

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is this shock/weakness bug some ppl have mentioned? I have also seen ppl mention bugs in regards to lightning-based, rift mages? My main inquisitor is a rift Mage and I always enjoy using PotA and static cage. Thank you.

Shock + weakness cause a sleep proc but if the enemy is immune to sleep and the proc happens then they become immune to weakness and shock.

Alright, I'll bite. I never got Sleep procs, since I never really played with a Lightning Rift Mage. Is it supposed to work off of the Templar's passive (5% weakness on hit)? What about the Warrior's passive (weakness on crit)?

Nothing has changed for a rift mage since this issue been in game since it came out, tho if your intent to have a lighting based attack i would go with lighting bolt since its the only active lighting skill that doesn't cause a shock proc on hit (tho can be combo with stonefist to make a discharged detonator).
 

Alright, I'll bite. I never got Sleep procs, since I never really played with a Lightning Rift Mage. Is it supposed to work off of the Templar's passive (5% weakness on hit)? What about the Warrior's passive (weakness on crit)?

It happens with any effect that applies weakness on to a shocked enemy.

You want to maintain weakness for as long as you can on rift mage for your mana regen so any skill that applies the shock proc is counter productive if you really want a lighting skill on a rift mage then lighting bolt is the best option since its the only skill that doesn't apply shock straight off but still give you access to it via impact combo on paralyze , plus which it is harder for the shock proc to go off by accident since most enemies immune to sleep are immune to paralyze as well.

On other thing with the dlc out now i seems all active skill have a new second upgrade 2 of which seem interesting too.

winter grasp new upgrade will to 1000% more damage to enemies already chilled or frozen, and blizzard upgrade which make it no longer require constant mana to keep up

Oh man the first thing I'm doing when I get home (aside from buying and downloading trespasser) is verifying these changes to winters grasp and blizzard because if that's true my ice necromancer might finally be viable.

the new fire/ice mine upgrades lets to cast 2 of them in front of your self and wall of fire has a upgrade that works similarly to flame blast in dao

Templar's Wrath of Heaven can now be used to heal yourself per enemy hit. Rogue poison weapons can now heal on hit. Mindblast can now be used as a CC cleanser. Reaver's ring of pain has option to follow you around, Devour can now heal more, Dragon Rage can ignore health cost, but comes with cool down. Champion still nerfed.

I am in-game now (latest patch) and don't see the Fire Mine/Ice Mine changes or the Winter's Grasp change.

 

I do see some of the others.  Are these live or planned?

I think you need the Tresspasser DLC to get the optional upgrade toggles.

The Spirit Blade toggle is available for me.  I also see some of the changes (like Livid) but not the Ice Mine, Fire Mine, or Winter's Grasp.   Are some of these upgrades only available in Trespasser?

FInally i will have my ring following me, i always felt it should have been like an aura instead of something static.

I really applaud the effort they put into redesigning and (hopefully) balancing all these basically new abilities. Makes combat more fun.

 

Also ranged shadow strike. 

 

And that upgrade to hook and tackle. Lmao.
