If you want to nerf the RM's mana regen.

I still think the synergy is worth it. Yes, there's a case where you can get screwed out of weakness, but the AoE sleep you can pull off is perfect for dispel detonations.

And then you can just put another Veilstrike on top of the group (since it costs almost nothing) to restore weakness.

I have a lot of fun pulling things into Cassandra after a chain lightning, and then she casts spell purge for damage in the thousands to most of the group.

Every active ability has now two toggle-able upgrades.

 

Ok, that's too interesting to pass up and it's definitely not in my game.  Trespasser, here we come!

Did they fix the broken Spirit tree upgrades and Lightning tree passives? I am getting the DLC on Thursday and I got here from Reddit so no story spoilers please.

Spirit tree upgrades now all have alternatives. Lightning tree passives have been fixed but they are not very strong.

They don't have to be. It is a little boost in power for characters who use upgraded Lightning Cage.

Lightning passives all worked already, and they changed Gathering Storm to work on all basic attacks (instead of just the first attack animation) several patches ago.

I believe Rejuvenating Barrier works fine too (the only fixes I remember in the Spirit tree are for the Mind Blast upgrade not giving barrier and causing the VFX to persist indefinitely).

I just tested Gathering Storm (which was broken last time I checked, a while ago) and it seems to do at least something, though maybe not exactly what it says.  Fire Mine cooldown with no attacks was 24s; Fire Mine cooldown with constant staff attacks was 15s.  So that's something.  This was with Trespasser on PC.

I just tested Gathering Storm (which was broken last time I checked, a while ago) and it seems to do at least something, though maybe not exactly what it says.

As noted, Gathering Storm was changed a long time ago (Patch 5 or something) to work on every basic attack (prior to the patch, it only worked on the very first attack animation of the sequence).

Everything else already worked normally and hasn't changed as far as I can recall.

Just picked up a "sigil". Not sure what to do with it.

It's a sigil. Looks like their is a new augment for armor.

I got a sigil of the great bear, +100 Stamina or Magic (Finally!), -50% Stamina/Magic Regen. Conductive Current and/or Rift Mage fans rejoice :)

Got mine in the Hissing Wastes. So I'd say they were patched into the entire game.

Triple fire mine is incredible, was doing 20k+ hits nonstop in trespasser.

Yeah, the triple fire mine is excellent for a close quarters mage like Knight Enchanter since it drops the three mines right in front of you. If all three are detonated they should be able to refill the charges on your Spirit Blade.

Received a new staff schematic from war table mission called 'Blade of Tidarion'. It was the war mission requiring Josephine to stop a war between Nevarra and Tevinter. I'll get a picture soon.

It looks like a sword handle!!!!

Ok, so this item was so cool I recorded animation of the attack.  Instead of attacking like a staff, it attacks like a two-handed sword but is made of pure energy like a lightsaber.  So freaking cool!!!!  Awesome staff for Knight Enchanters.

I found a sigil of the bronto (+100% guard, -100% barrier) from a normal bronto kill in the Emerald Graves.

you mean Mana?

 

have double mana and -50% reg is not a buff. it's the same. But it was the system they should make default from beginning

Rift Mages don't give a rip about passive regen...

Also conductive current is all but useless with current regen rates. With the mana pool refilling so fast as to make the bonus damage largely wasted.

Ehm no.....it is usueless right because wha tyou said after.

Since you regen fast you won't have 70% mana missing also because on 100 total mana,70% means you have 30 mana and you can't use any offensive spell.

if you have 200,you have 60 mana and get a nice bonus from conductive current
