Does anyone know if Energy Barrage has been nerfed? Every time I use it since I got the patch it seems to fly off in different directions bouncing all over the place hardly hitting anything.

Pathing for energy barrage does seem to have been changed some projectiles will fly off willy-nilly.

Maybe nerfed was the wrong word but you're right it does feel that way, I'm only getting about two hits every time I use it.

They do eventually still hit the target at least from what I've seen but the path each of the projectiles takes is random.

Like i said "eventually" some seem to go and do a lap around the map before they go and hit the target

Artificer passives play extremely well with multiple attack skills, so throwing blades, mines, spinning blades, hidden blades proc.
I never take the focus ability for my inquisitor for any specialization. Maybe one of these days I'll give it a chance. I'm playing a mage I'm planning to spec as a rift mage this PT since that's the only mage specialty I've yet to do.

That was the other possibility. Patch 11?All Fade Touched Unbowed is bugged. It literally does nothing when it procs.

I still do not see alternate upgrades for spirit blade. Things I tried:
1) looking at vivienne's skills (post-skyhold)
2) respec'ing vivienne's skills (post-skyhold)
3) loading pre-spec save and choosing KE
4) #3 and then respec'ing
5) #3, fast traveling to another zone, then respeccing
6) #3, respeccing, then fast travel
7) unplugging console for 10 minutes and restart
8) spin in circle 3 times and speak dragon age devs name backwards
None of it lets me see amplified blade.
Now it does seem to do more damage when I have 99 charges. But 3 swipes and it's down less than 20 charges. So basically it's charge up, swipe three times, charge up, swipe three times. And I still couldn't die even if I was dumb.
*EDIT*
I do like the new livid animation, but I feel it borrows a hell of a lot from wrath of heaven. In fact, it makes Wrath of Heaven animation look a bit ... underwhelming.
Same here. I'm on PC. I can't see the alts either. Level 18 KE that had the skill but not the upgrade pre patch.

Works for me (PC). MidnightWolf, check your build, maybe you don't have the upgrade?

Separate question: has Pull of the Abyss ever worked on Despair demons?
Works fine on other enemies.

Slightly off topic, but I found an amulet in the locked house in crestwood called "Malika's Guard." Seems to be optimal for bow rogues out of the amulets I know, as they have difficulty exploiting flanking bonus to begin with.
Figured I'd put it here because we're posting about stuff we're discovering in the new patch.

I just confirmed that if you already looted that room before the patch, you get only the power amulet, no do-overs.Slightly off topic, but I found an amulet in the locked house in crestwood called "Malika's Guard." Seems to be optimal for bow rogues out of the amulets I know, as they have difficulty exploiting flanking bonus to begin with.

No, the new ring is mage only. Still great though, it's almost like having Stealth+I Was Never Here+Knife in the Shadows all in one ring. Critical Damage mage builds have a welcome new toy.

That ring ! MY PRECIOUSSS...! Oh man, can you imagine using that ring in conjunction with Energy Barrage or Fade Step or Wall of Fire or Chain Lightning ? Prepare for mage domination !

I had to look up what you were talking about. I never knew you could kill the Golden Halla for a Fade-Touched Mate. Says it's bugged however.
