A guess at how Saarebas work - the first time you use any skill you have the Opening effect of that skill, then the second skill you use will have the Flow effect, then the third skill will use the Finishing effect, then rinse and repeat the cycle.

Yup, that's pretty much how it works according to the data, for every ability (total is 12 or so)

Also:

 

1. Spirit Blade no longer reflects projectiles (with/without upgrade)

2. Spirit Blade's animation can now be cancelled by jumping

 

Bleeding (thanks Cirvante) is nothing more than a physical DoT that bypasses armor. It doesn't reduce armor, attack speed or movement speed. It can be stacked and scales based on the caster's level (+5 physical damage / level). Also doesn't appear in the Fade as a status effect.

So like the Zither i am expected to think when I play this character?  That could be problematic.

So Spike Trap's evo is more or less useless on Perilous+

 

Seems the only good way to use the evo is on routine/threatening, with a level 20.  Everywhere else its just, meh.

Isn't this what Bleed was supposed to be originally, before it got changed to Sunder in many places?

Flow . Next attack of same or other skill

 

Finish last attack of a 3 pc.combo same or other skill

 

Here are some i like for now

 

Barrier, fire barrage, barrier party

 

Ice barrage, fire barrage, barrier party

 

Ice barrage, barrier 10% per enemy, lightning barrage

 

Can't wait to see what other cool new toys we get to make combos

Yep, but they actually made it work in this patch

Has anyone noticed that the Haakon sword still does unbowed?

 

Do we know if that is now going to change to the new skill Livid? Or is it always going to be an unbowed sword?

Livid is a rework of Rage of the Avvar people, not Unbowed

Few things rip apart barrier as quickly as projectiles, and without a good defense between cooldowns...  It won't be pretty.  Defensive Blade was also a lot of fun, so I'm sad to see it go.

Aye, spike trap is useful, but its upgrade changed just now.

 

It now adds 100 damage per second, over a timespan of 10 seconds.  Very hard to justify that being all that useful on higher difficulties.

Seriously gets in the way of my triple dmg enabled by stealth (or 375% wpn dmg with Razor's Edge) (or 450% wpn dmg with flanking, or higher idk)
