RIP Walking Fortress.

Standing in front of a dozen Bolters on FC spamming WF and Counterstrike as fast as you could push the buttons, praying that you don't encounter a spot of lag that causes the WF to drop for a half-second, was legitimately the most awesomely fun thing I've ever encountered in DAMP.

So of course it gets taken away.  :crying:

I noticed that the icon for buffs/debuffs and abilities have a built in timer, so you can see how close they are to running out.  Thank you!

What? Are there changes to WF?

Well, here's hoping this isn't the last MP dlc. The characters having backstory as a requirement must have seriously slowed how many they could pump out, which is why we're at 19 and ME3MP was at ~60 at the end of its run. The only real reason I'm hoping for more is if its left at uneven characters my OCD is going to send me into a fit when I'm trying to evenly level characters and get back around to rogues.

Plus we need a Constitution rogue or is the mage this time around Con and we're going to get a Willpower rogue eventually? <.<

Luke, why did you nerf Walking Fortress, was it intentional?

But whyyy? Now, I do realize that it was kind of OP on one hand but on the other hand it rewarded you on proper detonation and not missing the cooldown which was fun. :(

You can still detonate it, just doesnt pick the upgrade.

Hey Luke. Thought I'd like to add that, for the Xbox One, when wanting to respec the Saarebas from the character select screen you can't click R3 to go directly to her Respec token. It just take you to all of the respec tokens.

Are we talking about a WF exploit or was the ability itself changed?

The ability itself. It's upgrade gave you a cooldown bonus for each hit taken. That's been removed.

Not an exploit. Just changed possibly because of the new bolters that had so many repeated hits so fast it was causing Legos to be able to spam WF along with counterstike turning it into easy mode.  Still think it would have been better (although possibly more difficult from programming standpoint) just to reduce the number of their attacks or count the burst as 1 attack instead of several.

This is probably part of the reason WF was nerfed, but c'mon.  The bolters completely screw Isabela, because their high rate of fire destroys her elusive stacks almost instantly.  If Isabela's primary mechanic is so totally hosed by the bolters, we should be able to have one character who benefits from them.

Agreed, it's silly to nerf an ability just because one enemy type one one faction (on one wave no less) isn't good against it. Not to mention Bolters are annoying as hell. Surely it wouldn't be the end of the world to have an ability that benefits from them.

That too. Ugh, I just hate Bolters. Having their barrage count as a single strike would have solved the problems for the Legionnaire and Isabela.

I don't really see why they nerfed it so bad.

1) Only the Lego has it.

2) If you don't have 1545435asfdsfs promotions, you trade that amazing survivability on him with mediocre damage output.

3) Lego is not the most played class.

I don't see him played that often even on NM, because he kills slowly and everyone prefers faster going matches.

Time for this oldie, but goodie:

But would add to problems of ducking for cover or throwing up disruption field right after they cast.  That being said they seem to have made that change already to the arcane things in the treasure rooms as it only seems to hit 2 or 3 times instead of several, or at least that is how it is showing up when I put my shield up on my Lego and watching the guard chunks.

Well, ideally, you could have the barrages count as a single strike with a workaround, not actually changing the barrages at all. Like having a very brief invulnerability when losing an evasive stack, so you wouldn't lose more than one at once most of the time. For the Legionnaire, have Walking Fortress have an internal cooldown for its cooldown reduction instead of removing the feature completely. In other words, you would get a cooldown reduction after being hit, then for say, 1 second, not get any. After that 1 second, you could get another reduction for being hit.

I would agree with that.  The upgrade is hardly worth it anymore with all the other means of getting guard available.  Granted I will still probably take it just because if I need to actually use it for defense it will mean my guard is almost or is already gone. Hell, most of the time I used WF it was for the CD reduction for my attacks.  Sad to see it go.

As someone who wants to get into DAI MP into 2016 before MEA releases, I don't care about new characters for the most part, but instead new maps (? only the dragon one so far? Can we have one on the Deep Roads and maybe one based on a Trespasser location?), new enemies (Qunari? If they're unique enough), and more to customize, and more to do in maps for greater rewards.

Not disregarding you, just adding.

I imagine the nerf to WF, and the addition of Livid was meant to give the 1H warriors a boost to their damage output

Really like the new one. I haven´t watched numbers so i can´t say if she´s strong normal or weak, but the fun factor is 10/10 for me. Thanks Luke. :)

The crap you´ve done with Unbowed and Walking Fortress upgrade ? guess i´m done with Lego, really enjoyed him.

Was it really necessary? (but maybe give it some testing)

The SS Nerf, c´mon guys, she was too good :) (hopefully we no longer join games with 3 Sister´s thanks ^^ )

Lego just isn't as fun anymore :(  It's not like it was even overpowered.  Walking Fortress at least kept the red skull off you in Nightmare....

Shame on you.
