I usually like auto-aim in a game. Only one I can think of right now that I used to turn it off in was Perfect Dark (the original). You pretty much had to if you wanted to beat Perfect Agent so you could get headshots. The DarkSims on that game were like Collector Captains on crack.
Are Swarmers the real threat ? How the game would be without the auto-aim ?

Swarmers are secretly controlling all of them. They are the real threat.

Auto aim isn't an issue on console provided your crosshair (pre-ADS thingy) placement is good. Most players who I see complain about auto-aim are those who rely on it to much to snap to targets because they are lazy/bad. If you aim your crosshair on what you want to ADS on it shouldn't be an issue.
Reapers (Husks) and Collectors (Aboms) have enemies that rush you and force you to scope in on them no matter where you aim. If I'm using a single-shot sniper and I want to shoot that Captain or Marauder before the Husk/Abom that is half as far but won't get to me for another 2-3 seconds, the game keeps switching to the closer enemy no matter where I aim. And Swarmers are just another layer of crap on top of that.

Your saracasm is simply biting. 3.0 is comparatively EZ for a pubstomper because Battlefield has vehicles and is full of players who don't really know how to counter them. I'm not and was never a pubstomping pro like these two.

Lol @ 127kdr, 0,25kpm and 42%wins. spm is not very imperssive either. This guy is so flipping useless to his team, it`s not even funny. if he was a me3 player, he would be the scorewh#¤%% pug everyone whines about.
If the twinwolfes(or what ever it was) you posted in another post is you, your stats are far far more impressive. 75%wins and close to 1000spm. Mvp stats ![]()
OT: autoaim can be annoying sometimes, but it`s not to bad in this game, like QMR said.

^Yeah, he's like the epitome of the useless boulder humping snipers you see taking up half the playerslots on the losing team of every game, sitting on top of roofs or mountains in conquest/rush and making zero attempt to actually PTFO. Only difference is it seems he can at least kill something every 4 minutes or so, whereas most snipers are free dogtags, usually with like.3 K/D and sub 200 SPM because they are incapable of hitting anything but other useless snipers. A vehicle based subspecies of his kind would be the base camping MAA.

Yeah, W/L ratio and SPM are far better measures of actual skill in that game for the most part, though truly good players will do reasonably well at all of them and have high objective scores as well. I'm more concerned with winning the game than protecting my K/D, hence my relatively high KPM and SPM. I could boost K/D at the expense of other stats but what would be the point? You don't really win games by shooting the enemy, you win them by taking objectives and bleeding enemy tickets.

Hmm that's interesting, because back in the day people were complaining left and right how female characters had smaller hitboxes, and there were even videos demonstrating that near-misses like the ones in the video you posted would simply not hit those characters.
I guess long story short is that not only are male characters easier to hit, but GoW version of aim assist puts them at an even bigger disadvantage than they otherwise would be, as shots can get pulled in from a broader area.
95% of my xbox negative feedback came from playing Anya in GoW3. The other 5% was probably Bomberman.
I really doubt that coders of a competitive game would be so dense as to inbuild unconditional advantages to a character model, but people really whined about willingly choosing characters with larger hitboxes and suffering the consequences? What a bunch of babbies.
I sometimes played Elites in old Halo games. I never cried that I was easier to headshot from the side and more rounds would hit from the front due to the model being wider, because I could have always just picked a Spartan instead.

Plenty. I experimented for a time with removing the auto aim on BF4, partly because it is more intrusive than in a lot of other console shooters and partly as an experiment. When my K/D dropped close to 3.0 and other stats suffered I decided to turn it back on, wherin I started moving up again. No matter how good you think you are, it ultimately helps, which is why competitive players in console tournaments use it universally. The thumbsticks on gamepads simply aren't precise enough for the potential extra targeting freedom in certain situations to make up for the massive time lost in abusing the system's target acquisition ability on the vast majority of enemies you will be engaging. A highly skilled player will do fine with or without, but they will still do better with it. Most players ("casuals") are lost without it.
ME3's auto aim isn't even particularly intrusive. Contrary to claims I've seen here, for me it doesn't snap to center mass (I can still quickscope headshots with a SR just fine), and doesn't seem to have a sticky reticle (i.e. the acceleration and sensitivity doesn't decrease massively when simply aiming close to targets). Its target prioritization is also reasonably accurate, assuming your manual aim is at least close to the enemy you are trying to hit, and even if there is a swarmer or something else in the path, adjusting only uses up a modicum of time due to the aforementioned lack of sticky reticle and the fact that reduction of random spread is instantaneous upon engaging ADS compared to many other shooters, where weapons take a moment to reach maximum accuracy in an attempt to prevent quickscope strategies becoming overpowered for high level players.
I've been working on becoming a more patient player and consequently have resolved some of my issues with the auto aim feature. I still experience annoyances but I suppose it's not having as big a negative impact. That being said I would love to know what I'm doing wrong to never be able to scope straight to headshots when that is exactly what I'm aiming at. I am very deliberate about my pre-zoom scope placement. I still snap to COM every time. Maybe there is some skill disparity between us but if it is some technical thing I'm missing I must know. Snipers are the only class I have cleanly ascended from scrubitude with.

Auto aim would be great if it wasn't for lag*. Instead of the HS I'm aiming for, I get to make a lovely hole in the wall about a foot above and to the left.
*That's actual lag, not gril 'my boobs were in the way of the controller' lag.
