Finally got Heart of Pride and wow.  Combined with the belt of storm pact, my AW has come off the bench now.

Is heart of pride anywhere near hakkon's wisdom level? I mean it's got the faster attack speed so it makes me wonder.

Haven't got the Hakkon staff yet so I cannot compare.  Got the bow and longsword but the RNG gods are not being kind for the rest of them for me.

It depends largely on your cunning and what role you wish to play.

Heart of pride is awesome if you wish to play support and this staff greatly reduced your casting speed and CD (from gathering storm). And it makes Saarebas 100 times easier to play.

 

Hakkon is awesome if you wish to go for damage and have enough cunning to make use of that 100% crit dmg. Characters like AW will benefit more from Hakkon than from heart of pride (in my opinion).

Yeah with the storm pact belt and hakkon's wisdom the AW is an absolute beast.

I'm tending towards Hakkon's Wisdom for the AW. Seeing 5k damage come up for an initial chain lightning strike, then 2k for each of the other strikes is awesome (yes I have a chain lightning ring on), as is seeing 1k crits from auto attacks.

 

Heart of Pride is a close second as I don't think the extra attacks make up for the lower damage. Also the perma shock thing isn't as good as you might think, mostly because stuff isn't getting very close to me.

With HoP. Walk up to a group of enemies, cast PotA (everything goes asleep) and Fade Cloak, cast Dispel for combo, hillarity ensues. Repeat in 5 seconds because HoP is amazing with Gathering Storm.

Old Topic but no need for a new one, just wanted to ask if Enhanced Pact Belts exist in multiplayer or only the Superb ones? 

I think I had one or two and salvaged them or I am mistaking that with SP and/or I´m hallucinating:D
