My favourite is definitely Venture Capital (red and white), followed by Venture Forth (brown). I'm not a fan of most of the others, but this one is such an improvement over that blasted beige abomination!

I wish I could tint it though. My Inquisitor's armour is very similar but with a blue scarf, which would look great here.

Venture Forth is definitely perfect for the ladies, can't say the same for men with that epic clipping in the "posterior" O_O

sigh, this would make a great schematic tbh

You know, it might be one (albeit low level). My Quizzy's current armour is simply this outfit with more plating, so I'll check if this one is also available and report back :)

Yeah... not cool. They should have removed that silly cape for the guys too.

It depends on the Inquisitor's coloring. Maxwell, my brown haired, brown eyed human warrior, looks good in Venture Forth. My charcoal-skinned, violet eyed qunari rogue looks great in Night Watch.

The beige PJs.... because I have a mod that replaces them with something spiffier :wizard:

Agreed. My main Quizzy has brown hair the same colour as the gauntlets and greaves of Venture Forth, and I really like how all of her limbs and her head have the same detail colour. Because I'm weird.

Unfortunately you can't use the exact outfit. The closest I found is the Tier 1 Sturdy Defender Mail.

Definitely Venture Forth I believe it's called.

Spoiler

Inquisitor was not impressed with just the simple recolor of the PJs.

Spoiler

I quite like the blue colour one also a couple of the male ones I've seen that have like armour flaps on the back I like them was thinking I might use those in my next run as I'm going male . Shame they didn't give those to female as well.

Funny, I was thinking the opposite; neither should have them. They look dumb in my opinion.

I would like them a hell of a lot more if they didn't clip so terribly on my guy.

I don't mind the butt flaps. I love how most of the "outerwear" models use the rogue armor as a base. I prefer the more detailed boots and gloves of the rogue armor to the looser, squarer gloves and boots the other classes use.

Edit: I use a high-res cloth mod that adds a subtle paisley pattern to the Vyrantium Samite and a tone-on-tone vine pattern to the Silk Brocade, so the "casual wear" choices are much more attractive. "Purity" looks nice on my blonde human mage. Dark colors and earth tones make her look pasty-faced and clash with her makeup, so I like having a white tunic available. "Day Vigilance" or whatever they call it looks good on my red-haired dwarven lass, but I may put her in Calenhad Sunset instead. Of all my characters, she's about the only one who looks good in gold.

I gotta hand it to them. They did provide some decent variety on this one.

From the posts I've gathered "what" the skyhold outfits are, but can someone tell me how to access them? Do I have to purchase them as a DLC or something?

They are part of patch 10(for pc and new gen), once you reach Skyhold there's a wardrobe that have several outfits, and a golden nug statue(in both haven and Skyhold) that will allow you to sync you collectibles after finishing the game

Thanks. Where is the wardrobe? I went to my chambers as that would make the most sense and give that room a purpose but I didn't see anything.

Venture Forth for females. Very flattering while still looking stylish.

Black formal wear for males. Fits very well with the rather fit body shape of the Inquisitor.

The beige pyjamas can burn, at last.

Mods work for you? Modmanager keeps getting angry at me because a file already exists. The kicker? Modmanager generates the file itself...

I like the black "formal" number. Kinda hot, looks good on my dark elf, has real black that doesn't turn gray-blue in normal lighting like her hair, and most importantly, she can now go to War Room meetings like a responsible adult.

Cullen: "Ah, Aedlea, so you're not, uh... not wearing, uh..."
Leliana: "Her leisure suit?"
Josephine: *snicker* "What ever have you been thinking all this while?"
Aedlea: "Don't ask..."

It looks like your elf is balancing that owl on her head lol

The armor outfits are kind of a disappointment, and since my Inquisitor is a warrior, they were the ones I was looking forward to the most. As it is, I like the Midnight Tower (black formals) and the Night's Watch and Day's Vigil (the two outerwear options with the coat). Though the warrior version of the latter two comes with a big war horn which gets in the way a bit, I like the small knife on the back, the pockets and other little odds and ends. Wish the armors had that sort of detail.

I'll probably switch between the Night's Watch, the Midnight Tower, and when I really want armor for a scene, Eternal (the golden scale) since that is closest to the armor you get for the "proclamation of the Inquisition" cutscene in Haven.
