I like Venture Forth probably the best, but all of the options were much appreciated. I spent quite some time last night selecting the most appropriate manor attire for each of my dozen or so Inquisitors. Also did anyone notice that the Par Vollen decor added statues at the Skyhold entrance?
What is your favorite new Skyhold outfit?

Sorry, all the outfits from Bioware are ugly (for my taste). Look like armors or are "closed".
THIS I like: http://www.nexusmods...tion/mods/388/?and this http://www.nexusmods...1&gid=728&pUp=1 (the Top, not the trousers).

This is what I am saying. It's obvious they heard their fan base and decided to give us some options for Skyhold wear. Yet they did nothing but offer re-skinned/coloured outfits. I am loathe to complain because they didn't need to offer anything, but I guess I just expected more from the developers than from fan mods. The fan mods are amazing, and these pale in comparison.

Fan mods are often spectacular, but these are done from ardor with a time frame limited only by the skill of the person making it. The devs have to work within a business model with limited resources for a dlc that actively ends the company's involvement for the most part. I'm just sorry to see how quickly complaints arose for something long requested, and done as a courtesy concession by Bioware?

Mods work for you? Modmanager keeps getting angry at me because a file already exists. The kicker? Modmanager generates the file itself...
Yup they work just fine, you just need to get the updated version of the mod manager. Might I suggest DAI Tools Suite, you can use it to check for updates quickly and easily, the current version of the manager was released like 6 or 7 hours after patch 10.

I'm actually ok with meshes themselves (I didin't expect anything new in free patch), but the colors.... just
It would be nice if you could tint them.

It's like this. Let's say this was an ice cream company. This ice cream company only sold three flavors - Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. However they made these flavors very well and people loved it, but they wanted more flavors. So the company decides they will release 3 more flavors and they come out with New Vanilla 2! Same great taste with blue food coloring! Chocolate squared! Same Chocolate flavor you love in a square container! Strawberry Blonde! We mixed some vanilla with our strawberry, double your pleasure!
I don't think anyone does not appreciate the gesture, but giving critique on the new outfits is to be expected and they need to hear that feedback as well.

It really depends on the character you're currently playing, but I think there's something in there for all of mine. I'm glad that I can use mods whenever I want something more fancy, though. ![]()
For my current character I'm using the red formal wear from Halamshiral, he looks awesome in that. I gave him more of an average appearance (to counterbalance Dorian's handsomeness), so I think the formal look helps him appear like an authority figure, instead of a peasant in weird pyjamas.

Thanks. Where is the wardrobe? I went to my chambers as that would make the most sense and give that room a purpose but I didn't see anything.
It's next to the bed in your room along the same wall next to the door with the ladder in it.

So...since my Inquisitor spent the game in green like a forest fairy, are there any green coloured outfits?
Origin doesn't like my game for the moment.

Funny, I was thinking the opposite; neither should have them. They look dumb in my opinion.
Everyone has different tastes I suppose but I've always liked them at least on my armours and all that. Especiaslly as I'm often using those armours. I was only surprised they didn't give them to females because in general I find they look nicer on females. What with the fact they're trying to treat each gender equally I'd have thought they'd have given it to the females too. I'm not complaining though as it is nice to have a few options outside of the beige outfit now either way. Especially as I don't exactly have the best luck when trying to get mods to work. How and when I actually use them though I've not yet decided

Yeah the options aren't great but at least we do have some now so we can play around a bit moer with how our characters can look and feel. I think it s good that at least Boiware aer trying to make things better in this game and futuer games especially given thc CC and clothing areas I will asy aer the areas the DAI struggles most with compared to the other games.

The leather coatless outerwear - Venture Forth, mostly, and Venture Capital afterwards. Not as nice as the texture replacements I've seen from modders - carta coats and qunari threads - but definately better than Beige Eternal.

Night's Watch cause Game of Thrones.... j/k.. But seriously, I think Night's Watch fits my main character. Looks like a lighter(in weight) version of my battle armor. I'm not too crazy about the knee high boots and the gloves that go to the elbow though... But it beats the PJs...

Aside from the "Venture Forth" outfit I really don't like any of them.
Recoloring of the Pajamas and Formal outfit are you kidding me? The colors are not even appealing, silk brocade and infused vyrantium samite(i think). Why can't we choose out own colors at least. And seriously the formal armor again??? The women should not have to wear that stuffy armor. It looks great on Males, Disney Prince-esque but looks ridiculous on females. And the heavy wardrobe outfits look like a damn oven mitt, I hated it on the normal armors except where you could barely see it because of gloves and shoulder pads. The medium wardrobe outfits... like I said I only prefer the "Venture Forth" outfit but the other one is too bright. Bright White gloves and Red Sleeves. My inky looks like a clown in that. /ugh /sigh
They should have just given us a choice to wear whatever armor we had in inventory. I have to compare to Mass Effect because Shepard at least had a range of decent looking casual wear on the Normandy. Are the developers not creative enough to produce something else? There's so many awesome armors on the static citizens of Orlais that they could have given us.

Let's say this was an ice cream company. It made cartons of ice cream, ice cream bars, and popsicles. Their tub ice cream was only available in one flavor: vanilla. Their ice cream bars were only available in one flavor: chocolate. They offered a wide range of popsicles, but many were exclusive to certain vendors. Now, they have 14 flavors of tub ice cream. Vanilla, cherry vanilla, and fudge ripple are all based on the vanilla base. Chocolate, moose tracks, brownie chunk, and chocolate almond are all variations on their chocolate base, and none of them have been available in carton form before. They've adapted several of their popsicle flavors to make them available in carton form, but they were not able to adapt all of the flavors.
Maybe they would have liked to research new flavors, but their test kitchens are gearing up to make cakes now, and they just don't have the staff to develop or market test new offerings.
Is it even worth mentioning that after the first one, all of these ice cream flavors are free?

Wow something that looks good on a male elf! I tried this on the female elf and I didn't like it as much.
I know. I was so surprised when I put it on. Best part is: NO MORE MAN BOOBS!!
