I like the venture ones. The armor ones look good on my qunari too. Tried some of the modded casual ware and while I can appreciate all the work and skill that went into making them they tend to be too... something. It tends to be very obvious that they aren't part of the base game. Which may or may not be the point but it makes me feel weird. The ones Bioware added (AND IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME) 'fit' better.

I'm actually ok with meshes themselves (I didin't expect anything new in free patch), but the colors.... just It would be nice if you could tint them.

They can't do that! Then you would realize there are 5 outfits (including the old one) and not 13! But seriously, I totally agree. I want to put a blue scarf on my Venture Capital, Bioware!

 

Everyone has different tastes I suppose but I've always liked them at least on my armours and all that. Especiaslly as I'm often using those armours. I was only surprised they didn't give them to females because in general I find they look nicer on females. What with the fact they're trying to treat each gender equally I'd have thought they'd have given it to the females too. I'm not complaining though as it is nice to have a few options outside of the beige outfit now either way. Especially as I don't exactly have the best luck when trying to get mods to work. How and when I actually use them though I've not yet decided 

I actually agree with you completely. They should have either had males and females with the flap, or both without. Because as it is, it's pretty clear they just want to look at the Lady Inquisitor's butt and not have to see the Lord Inquisitor's. Also, clipping. Can't have Bioware stuff without that

Sadly disappointed. Not that they are bad but.... these,are the creators of the game making outfits that look 1/10th as good as fan mods.

That is not okay.

I know right? Besides all of that they are recolors of armor or clothing in game already. Nothing new. I was seriously hoping for something brand new with only a few recolors here and there. At this point they can steal my work. I'll design it...just put it in the game for me!

Pretty sure it doesn't change the winterpalace outfit.

Let's say this was an ice cream company. It made cartons of ice cream, ice cream bars, and popsicles. Their tub ice cream was only available in one flavor: vanilla. Their ice cream bars were only available in one flavor: chocolate. They offered a wide range of popsicles, but many were exclusive to certain vendors. Now, they have 14 flavors of tub ice cream. Vanilla, cherry vanilla, and fudge ripple are all based on the vanilla base. Chocolate, moose tracks, brownie chunk, and chocolate almond are all variations on their chocolate base, and none of them have been available in carton form before. They've adapted several of their popsicle flavors to make them available in carton form, but they were not able to adapt all of the flavors.

 

Maybe they would have liked to research new flavors, but their test kitchens are gearing up to make cakes now, and they just don't have the staff to develop or market test new offerings.

 

Is it even worth mentioning that after the first one, all of these ice cream flavors are free?

Bottom line - ice cream or video game. We appreciate the free offer, but it doesn't mean it isn't lack luster. It doesn't mean we can't share our opinions because it was free, as if that makes it free of scrutiny. With minimal effort they could have added the dye option at the least. If you are happy with the new and free options, right on. We don't need to agree on it. I appreciate your opinion just don't disregard mine because... free.

Tintable would have been good, yes -- I still want something purely in the Inquistion colours: black, silver/white and red. But I'm growing kinda fond of the Night's Watch despite the warhorn, and Eternal and Midnght Tower suit my Inquisitor as well. No more damn beige skintight eyesore!

Wooow. I haven't played DAI in a LONG time. Only have 1 finished playthrough. Only the Tresspassor DLC seems to grab me ATM.

 

My dwarves, esepcially mr rogues would love that venture fourth one.

Nobody's saying that you can't have an opinion, or even express a regret that you didn't get what you really wanted, but it would go down better if prefaced with "Hey, thanks for the free ice cream."

 

Me, I'm both delighted and grateful to have any options that aren't beige. I would have liked to see either the apprentice armor or formal wear in Dales Loden Wool with Ring Velvet accents and Wyvern Scale leather pieces myself, but I'm not complaining. It would have been easier and cheaper for them to give us nothing at all. They could have. Nobody was expecting this.

I would love the removal of the butt capes for the males... EQUALITY IN INQUISITORIAL BUTT GAZING! That and the clipping is just horrid, the outfit is so much cleaner without it.

I read that as "equatorial butt gazing." I guess it amounts to the same thing.

yeah the first one or blue one as I call it is one of my favourites as well. I can see myself using that one on my next female quizzy's next time I take that path

Any straight guy with a female character likes the Venture outfits.
