Thought we could get a thread going for the locations of the new accessories added in Patch 10, which were the winners of the Untold Relics of Thedas contest.

EDIT: It's been confirmed now that you can buy all of the new Untold Relic accessories at the Winter Place in the Trespasser DLC.

I like this idea!

I already cleared Villa Maurel long ago, so I went back to look for the amulet. I couldn't find it. Could you provide the specific room you found it in?

It was in the very last room in the back of the villa, in the standing chest just behind the desk of the main room.

It seems they used existing containers and loot drops to add the new items, meaning people with post-game or in-progress saves are out of luck (unless it happens to be a container you never looted or creature you never killed).

I've been in every room of the Villa and nothing. I've got the new wardrobe and everything else so I should have the relics. What am I missing or has this been verified by anyone else?

That was my assumption as to what they did - I hadn't cleared Villa Maurel till after the patch was downloaded, but so far, that's the only new Relic of Thedas accessory that I've found (which is why I'm hoping more people will post here so I can make a full list of the new items and their locations).

I found Malika's Guard: Amulet, Rogue only

Effects

- +30% Front Defense

- +20% Attack

- +10 Dexterity

- -50% flanking damage bonus

Overall, it seems to be a pretty good amulet although the -50% flanking damage reduction makes it less than ideal for double dagger rogues. I'd use it for an archer since I normally use them as long range support/dps.

Where did you find it? (so I can add it to the list)

Not sure if this is one of them, but I noticed a new item drop today from the "boss" you fight to claim the Keep in the Western Approach.  I'm going by memory here, but it was an Amulet, "Kitty's" something or another, which reduced armor by 100% but had three special effects to keep you alive.  One was reducing one attack you received to zero once per minute, I believe there was another that had a chance to revive you if you died, forget what the third one was.

The description actually vaguely referenced a Desire demon and a small girl, so I thought maybe I just didn't have the Shale settings right in the Keep when I started this playthrough, but now that I know about these...it's probably one of them.

Ok guys, it's nice that you're telling us about the things you think you've found but the title of this topic includes the word "location" so maybe you could, you know, say the freaking location?! That'd be great. Thanks ;)

For some reason when I try to open the chests to loot the item it's not letting m open the chests. Anyone know how to fix this?

This item references one of the Honnleath quests from Origins (where the Warden recruited the golem Shale).

Yeah, that's why I thought maybe the item only appears if you note that one of the villagers in that class got possessed and that I set the Keep wrong, but I loaded it up and it doesn't seem to be the case, therefore I'm figuring this is one of the new contest items.

Here's the proper information for those curious:

Kitty's Collar (amulet)

Effects
-100% Damage Resistance (All)
Guardian Spirit: Blocks on melee attack every 30 seconds
On dying: 75% chance to heal for half health
Resist a lethal strike once every 60 seconds

A narrow leather band embossed with a design popular in Honnleath some years ago.  A tuft of orange fur is caught in the buckle.  Spirits whisper across the veil, but their voices are unclear.  Briefly, they conjure the memory of a little girl.

Just recieved an "Enhanced Belt of Urgency" from the "Upon the Waking Sea" wartable mission.  It usually gives a Figurine of Armored Andraste.

The belt gives a medium boost to attack speed when health is below 50%

So pissed that these are in places where the majority of players have already looted/killed/or completed the war table operations. Right now it looks like the only one I'll be able to get with most of my characters is Andraste's Sacrifice, since I've been farming the fade-touched lustrous cotton. Bioware could've thrown these in the special shipments chest for those who've completed said quests. Or provided new quests in certain areas to get them.

Hopefully locations are somewhat randomized so nobody (or rather, fewer, as I'm sure most people have a few chests they left lootable for schematics) misses out due to already killing a specific enemy or completing a war table mission.

yeah i hear ya i pretty much started a new run a couple days ago to get ready for this last dlc but i got lucky with this ring but to be honest this ring is very annoying with the stealth deal it literally goes off every 3 sec and the noise can get rather old after so long and the stealth is like the stealth from the skirmisher upgrade you can just run around hidden none stop lol

I found this in Crestwood, same location you get the amulet of power for inky in the locked house, so deft hands perk

doesnt seem like it but i tell you what the warriors got a sweet ability called livid and some really good changes to a few upgrades for certain powers and it looks like the knight enchanter got nerfed once again but this isnt a bad thing... to be honest i really liked that class but after i could throw dragons around it was yawn worthy....now its a challenge to play them which is supercool

Amusingly, a lot of these seem to be placed in containers where there used to be amulets of power (that got removed in Patch 5).

I know! Rather lazy. I can't get most of these items for my main character because I didn't realize that chests respawned until late game.
