I wanted the option to die. This whole thing has made me depressed. Doesn't help I got a bad infection in my eyes and I'm half blind now. I'm watching this thru one half good eye. This all happened in a few days and this just made me feel worse.

I don't think we will get closure. Lavellan story is done. I just.. Wanted more feelings from him. A better kiss at least. I don't know, again half blind and watched a twitch stream. Can't seem to re watch it and I have a ps4.

If there's a way to rewatched it can someone post a link?

It's amazing how so many theories were proved to be true, though.

 

The veil thing.

 

The fact that Solas wants to bring the old world back...even at the sake of this one. I'd hoped that he wouldn't go that far since he cares about everyone.

 

He approved every time you helped the people in the Hinterlands. 

 

He went out of his way to heal an injured woman in a cutscene.

 

Etc.

I do wonder if a rival relationship with him is just as sad or is he angry and bitter? So many choices!

 

 

Confirmed it was the last DLC of DAI. Nothing about DA4 not having them in it.

Well, regardless of what Bioware "confirmed" they aren't exactly known for keeping their word. In any case I think it was meant to be about why we're not playing the Warden, which some people can't seem to get over. But I think this could have changed- if they think it's right for the story, then, well, they are within their right to change their mind.

 

It's also possible that I misread the information and they didn't confirm it in the first place.   And yes, I still see requests for another appearance of the Warden, even though Bioware said on multiple occassions that it wasn't going to happen. It just caught me by surprise, because the scene does set up the inquisitor for being the protagonist in the next game as well. But because DA4 is so far away, things may change during the whole development. 

 

We'll see!

Unfortunately Solas isn't aware that my Inquisitor is a crazy person. Although I can only hope for a sequel or a role in the next game, for the moment, I remain hyped. 

 

I'm sure we may get SOME clarification from Patrick at some point in the next few days on points that people have questions over. Without getting too spoilery from him or flat out confirming DA4. Though I'm going to pretend that the new IP is actually DA 3.5 and they've been hiding it from us. (obviously that's not true, but still.)

I hope they consider it! How awesome would it be to have a part 2, and be a one handed hero? On a quest against someone who was their friend/lover? I must have more.

 

I mean, it won't be the end of the world if that's not what happens. But that's a damn good launch point for a story.

I have to say, the Inquisitor is the first protagonist of any game that I don't want to see gone in the next installment. I just feel like they did a whole lot of things right with Inky's character that I just cannot embrace a new protagonist. Even if it's another Inquisitor, a Cadash, for example, I wouldn't be able to let go.
