I hope they consider it! How awesome would it be to have a part 2, and be a one handed hero? On a quest against someone who was their friend/lover? I must have more.

I mean, it won't be the end of the world if that's not what happens. But that's a damn good launch point for a story.

Whenever I think "But only one hand?!" I remember how well it works for Jaime Lannister...

I'm a bit torn with Cole now because I love Krem too... Cole with Maryden or Krem with her? I feel Krem really should have happiness, but that would mean Cole would have to be a spirit. Hmmm...

I have to say, the Inquisitor is the first protagonist of any game that I don't want to see gone in the next installment. I just feel like they did a whole lot of things right with Inky's character that I just cannot embrace a new protagonist. Even if it's another Inquisitor, a Cadash, for example, I wouldn't be able to let go.

Yeah for the first time (even more than Hawke- was she mentioned?? Weisshaupt? Anything? Griffons?) I am completely in love and attached to my Lavellan. I never felt this strongly about the Warden. But it's clear that her story is NOT over.

I'm staring at the "I will not" part of that sentence.

That's awfully present tense to me. Though there might not be a better way to word it. xD

"I would never have" maybe.

Just sounds.....ongoing the way he says it. Like he might do so in the future now.

*cough* Don't mind me.

Ooops! That was a mistake on my part. The correct line was, "I would not lay with you under false pretenses." :P

Screenshot for reference. ;)

The more I think about it, imagine all the press a video game with a disabled PC would get!

Same here, I adore my Lavellan, I never got so attached to either of my previous protagonists, I mean, I got attached to them because it's what I do, but never to this extreme.

Imagine an Inquisitor with a metal arm or something. At the beginning, they only have their stump and look back at their fighting gear, determined to pick it up again. Learning to wield a bow again. Having trouble using that big sword that was so easy to wield with two hands. Gripping your staff with only one hand for flashy spells. Just...I want it.

It would be awesome. It would be easy to make it so that the Inquisitor has an attachment where their arm was for a bow, shield, or whatever weapon needs two hands. People with disabilities aren't helpless, and the right equipment could make them just as capable as before with some training.

Also, they really haven't made it appear that a protagonist will be so closely involved in a sequel before, have they? The Warden did their own thing, Awakening, then their own thing. Or died. Hawke did their own thing, went missing, and returned for a cameo. Then disappeared again in one of two ways. Inquisitor, instead, stabs a map like serious business.

With only one hand?

Dagna can surely make a prothesis arm for our Inquisitor.

I see this happening. She will get a new arm most likely if she's meant to be played. If not she will be an NPC aiding our new hero. However it did not end implying she was done, so I'm wondering. Also as she looked up at the sky at the end, a green flicker shot across the sky.

They could - purely based on speculation - make this work. Just give us entirely new companions - the Inquisitor said they would need new people, people that Solas doesn't know. But they are still the most important person in their organisation, Inquisition disbanded or not. I'd be terribly sad if we would play an agent of our Inquisitor and nothing really puts our hero back into action. If we don't play as them, at least make them important to the plot and Solas.

Here you go. This is the last 1 1/2 hours of gameplay, though.

I know what you mean, though it could either be Solas using the anchor to break the veil here and there or just a scar left behind by the huge rift.

What do I need to offer to the BioWare gods to have Abelas as a companion/LI?  :D

Hi everyone *waves*

I've been lurking without posting for a few days now, but I really really need someone to talk with now that I've done and spoiled myself good. I'm still not sure if I shuld be completely depressed to see that the worse-possible (at least in my head) ending came to pass as far as Sollavellan goes (and Solas' plan! Damn, I need to slap that egg over the head, urgh), or completely stoked on the possibilities for the future DA4.

The fact that Solas is actually gathering up other elves [either intentionally or not], suggests we might see him again! He could potentially get stabbed, but we've seen numerous characters shrug that off.

That could be SO interesting and such a good foil on Solas. One elvhen who wants, desperatly, to bring back the past whatever the cost, and one who saw the world go past him and is yet ready to defend the present in spite of his weariness (I always saw Abelas of so very weary of his life).

Except Lavellan, no he's not gathering her up... bastard.

I have questions.

1) Grey Wardens mentioned? Hawke? Weisshaupt?

2) Felassan mentioned?

3) Abelas alive?

1) I didn't see them mentioned, but I didn't see the beginning of the playthrough and kind of had Solas vision.

2) Cole mentions the sad wolf with the slow arrow between his teeth, so I'm assuming he was talking about Felassan. I interpreted that as Solas killing him because of the betrayal but feeling sad about.

3) No mention of Abelas that I saw. Unfortunately. There was a really huge elf spirit though. I didn't know elves could get that big...*coughthat'swhatshesaidcough*

He doesn't want her to see what he becomes. That's a noble thing to try to protect her from, but he takes the choice of staying by his side away from her. It should be her choice, but she can't follow him the moment he walks away because of the mark. Why, Solas? I mean, I understand why...but why?

If he is gathering all the elves, does that mean we won't be able to play an elf in DA4 if we play a new character in it?
