Wasn't the servant also serving the Qun?
Guard was an agent for Solas. Servant was an agent for the Qun.

I'd suspect he's gonna do something that will kill both him and the other elven gods.So what could possibly kill Solas? would bringing down the veil destroy him as well? or he just thinks he'll get the smack down form the other elven gods? or is it the Mythal merger changing him? Flemeth did say there would be a reckoning.

Servant was Qun, guard was Solas's.
Personally, I choose to headcanon that he worked through proxies, knowing he would have to one day leave the Inquisition, and building up that spy network to keep him informed after he left. I doubt that the elven guard knew Solas was Fen'Harel; she probably just knew she was working for Fen'Harel.
So, so glad I disbanded the Inquisition. Armies and alliances aren't going to stop Solas now; all they can do is slow him down. People are going to stop him. People reminding him that he's not alone, that this world does count for something, and that he's making a tremendous ass of himself ![]()
I love how the Solas thread now seems to worship Coryfish for giving you more time to live because of his actions!
Coryphemus
Assumed villain
Actual unsung hero
Really curious about how him taking Mythals power plays into this...
Also, when he was like "they killed Mythal those assholes >:(" I just sat there like uuuuhhhh you... kinda killed her too?!
Maybe it doesn't count if you kill her after someone else does. Like she's some kind of super-concentrated ghost ![]()

Cause if the gods survive, things would just start all over again.

Himself I bet. I think he will give up and accept death when he fails next game. I just don't think he's the big baddie and something even greater is still out there messing with everyone.

To be fair, I trust Solas' agents over the Qun's agents. The Qun was trying to kill people. Solas's agents were probably just reporting back how many times a week Lavellan burst out into tears, or how many pins were found in her Solas Voodoo Doll each morning. Or smuggled him panties. Pretty sure it was one of those.

Psssht, they all don't count because they aren't part of his super cool ancient elven clique. ![]()

Or interfering with any attempts made to track him down. I'll bet quizzy's other arm that some of Leliana's people really belonged to Solas all along.

They DO count now, he's just going to go through with his idiot plan anyway because he...feels guilty or something. Oh Solas. You stupid muddled egghead.
It's Dragon Age: Mean Girls edition!Psssht, they all don't count because they aren't part of his super cool ancient elven clique.

So are any of you going to choose the broken heart icon and unlock Lavellan's 2 year trapped romance?

Solas: "Have you gotten the .... items ... I requested?"
Spy: "Yes, your Baldness."
*hands solas a bag of Lavellan panties*
Solas: *later in private; dumps them all on his face* "MA VENHAN!!"

Ooooooh, the plot thickens!
Poor Leliana. This DLC ended up making her look like the worst Spymaster ever. Qun AND Fen'Harel spies all up in our business. Is no one else bothered by the idea that Solas has apparently been amassing a throng of followers since pre-Inquisition times, though? This thought really irks me, since these spies obviously know who they are working for while we are kept in the dark.

Later that night, Lavellan spots a strange black wolf in her dreams. Who appears to be wearing her underwear.

we create beautiful stories together o;
So.......I have to wait for EA to fix my account or something so I want some juicy details about the DLC.
Any crazy elvhen pantheon lore insights from it?
If so, I need it all. For science.

As a player, I seriously thought about it. My Lavellan, at least, deserves to be happy even if Solas decides he has to be miserable. But she's not the type to give up on people. And while she's certainly not thrilled about the way things turned out, I don't think she's heartbroken either.
She thinks of it this way: just as she's both Clariel Lavellan AND the Inquisitor, he's both Solas AND the Dread Wolf. She's found a way to reconcile her two selves, and she doesn't have to compromise who she is to be Inquisitor. Solas, meanwhile, is being tugged in two opposing directions; what he wants to do, and what he feels compelled to do as the Dread Wolf. From her perspective, what he needs is support, self-awareness, and compassion, not a huge-ass organization chasing him to the ends of the earth.

They're called the Enavuris. And they're not actually gods, and neither is Solas. Like Cory, they're really really powerful mages who came to be worshiped as gods.

He makes that actual comparison between them.

Pro-tip, Solas: at least in my game, your muggle elvhen girlfriend who you didn't even think was a real person at first? She's way, WAY better at this than you are ![]()
Real-life, I would not be crying (or waiting) over a man.
In fiction, I will literally torment my PCs with emotionally bad decisions because I cannot help myself. Barring the occasional headcanon trysts (dependent upon how long this "separation" will take; she's not a nun), my Lavellan's heart will be waiting on Solas forever. Cuz' I am a mean, mean person who enjoys dat sweet angst.
Ok, so I am going mad here.
What am I supposed to do with the veilfire and the circle of dead in the giant elven library? I get the torch lit, but you can't walk past the purple flames without using an ability that drops the torch.

Wait, how do you get past purple flames in the first place?
