Why would his feelings for a rogue/warrior Lavellan be any different from his feelings for a mage Lavellan? I noticed this has been brought up a few times in the Solas thread before. I just wonder where people get the idea that his feelings for a non-mage Lavellan would be less than a mage Lavellan. 
Same. He doesn't think more highly of Vivienne for being a mage than Cassandra for not being one: in fact, quite the opposite. It's who people are rather than what they are that matters to him when he's got his head screwed on straight.

EDIT: And he doesn't seem to think much of the rebel mages either. I think his "everyone is Tranquil" statement goes deeper than whether people can hurl around fireballs or not.
