Do you truly believe people like Flemeth and Yavana are gone?

And if you don't Know Yavana is Flemeths daughter known for dealing with Great Dragons and becoming a Witch of the Wilds herself. She was Stabbed in the stomach buy Alistar presumably killing her.
I just wanted to ask if you think these two very powerful Mages are actually gone?
Flemeth has been a very big background force in the series
While Yavana has proven to be a very powerful mage in her own rights.

The Borg tried to end Flemeth on many occasions and failed, so not so easy to dispose her off
I hope your right

I don't think Yavana is dead. She's Flemythal's daughter and tasked to guard and awaken all those sleep Great Dragon. For one thing, the dragon that's partnered with Yavana is called the Queen of Dragons by Yavana. I would not be too surprised is she and that dragon somehow did that spirit-bonding/ hocrux thing. If Leliana/Wynne/ Rhys(?) can somehow be resurrected via aid of spirits then I'm sure Yavana of all people have spirits and the Queen of Dragons to help her.
As for Flemeth. She may have put a piece of her soul into that Eluvian and as she says to Hawke when he resurrected her "Just a piece. a small piece, but it was all I needed." We also know from data mining/dev notes that Flemeth intended to pass on her "godhood" to Morrigan.. Lastly, to quote Solas when Falon'din was beaten to a pulp by the rest of the gods by warring with them, "One cannot simply kill a god"

On Yavana's case, she was far more powerful that what she seemed to be, she and her Dragon presumably were major responsibles on kicking out the Qunari from Antiva, the only reason of why she died is because Alistair betrayed her and murdered her, now, here is the point, Gaider stated that some changes in the world states could make the things happen different or just never happened if such changes were extreme, so technically if you hang up Alistair first, she should be safe, however, there is another problem, Gaider is no longer part of the development team, while not every choice, a lot of them were retconned and dropped on straight line again, the codex entry on WOT2 left her fate ambiguous, it seems that rather than allow her to live on some world states and let her die in others, they likely are going to find her a way to die if Alistair died or provide her a back up plan so she will live on every world state, the choice is up Bioware and the best we can do is ask for her in a future installment.

What I believe in Yavanas case is that she did something close to what Flemythal did by putting a piece of her soul or such in something, such as the amulet she had you take to the clan, namely the Queen Great Dragon to be kept safe by any who ever figure out about it. An I would believe with her connection to the dragons it would have the means to use the piece to resurrect her. I doubt someone as powerful as her would love without some sort of back up plan.
As for Flemythal I just don't believe that she's gone at all. I believe maybe she gave Solas knowledge in the form of a double of herself it would seem as if there can be multiple of her seeing as when we summon her at the alter in DA2 she doesn't really know if her 'original self' ,who knows how many times she's done this, is dead or not bit she only assumes that Morrigan has killed her other self already. Because If Morrigan has the arch demon baby then she takes the soul I would guess of the archdemon from him. And I doubt she'd just give that willing to Solas she took it for a purpose and I want to know of what purpose?

It's uncertain, for what we know, Flemeth has only been screwed on physical ways by dudes far down her power, now Solas may be weakened, but he messed at her on a magical if not spiritual way, I assume we'll have some answers of her fate in short.
Well I don't think it's that he messed with her I feel as if it was willing. Because if it was forced then I'm sure there would have been a fight and I'm sure Solas would have lost. I just believe she passed on some knowledge to Solas in the form of a double body of hers to help him along his journey. As I said in another post it's been seen that's it's possible for her to have two bodies present in the world or maybe more.
And for Yavana same with Flemythal I just can't believe someone of such power and knowledge would go through as world without a back up plan of sorts if she was able to grant someone immortality then I'm sure she has resurrection spells of her own. I believe it would be something close to how Flemeth put a piece of her soul in the amulet we had to take to the Dalish Clan in DA2 but in her case she put it in a Great Dragon for safe keeping and with her connection to the Dragons the dragon it's self would be able to resurrect her with it .

I have some hope, regardless the blood needed to awaken them, the Dragons still would need someone to perform the ritual, so, if they were hopeless to do so, the Queen wouldn't have a reason to not stamp Alistair against the floor for killing her friend.

Well I'm sure there is more than one way to resurrect someone. Maybe the fires of a great dragon alone could ignite her soul and bring her back to life. I would think she wouldn't pick s resurrection spell that required someone else to preform it. Unless maybe Flemeth is suppose to bring her back himmmmmmmm

I'm certain Flemeth is not gone. She lives on, whenever ''inside'' Solas or on the piece of soul she sent through the Eluvian. Or both. Which could end up being quite awkward.

lol
Funny topic.
Seriously... No.
For a team that supposedly has a master story arc, they are just terrible at NPC death meaning anything.
They recon'ed Leliana's possible death; you could kill Odgren in DAO if his approval was low enough - which fails to prohibit his appearance in DAA; Wynn, as I recall can both be killed at the Tower and will join Leliana (in dying) should you defile the Urn of Sacred Ashes... and yet her zombie self still shows up in DAA.... as can any Warden who performed the US. Sten can be left to die in Lothering and yet (at least in the comics) becomes Arishok.
NPC (and even PC) death in Dragon Age means.... *drum roll* ABSOLUTELY Nothing. In DA4, it will turn out that Solas is a misunderstood artist with a heart of gold who had nothing to do with the breech; Cory was really a Grey warden and is currently in the Free Marches; Hawke's mother's death was an optical illusion and Flemeth is alive and well and still be screwing with the world state.

Yeeeeeah, no. They're not gone. Flemeth was not brutally murdered by Solas. She accepted it. She would have made plans to continue her life past that point (like a horcrux). Yavana. I don't know much about Yavana but if she is a Witch of the Wilds, taught by Flemeth, there is a good chance she is still kicking as well.
