I checked everywhere I could think of - is there actually a wardrobe at Haven, or do we have to wait until Skyhold to get out of the pyjamas?

You don't wear casual clothes in Haven, you're always in your armor except for a couple of cutscenes i think.

That's exactly the problem. One of those cutscenes is the coronation at Skyhold - one of the most important and arguably best scenes in the game. And we're stuck in the Dread Beige during that iconic moment forever. It makes me sad. If the wardrobe was in Haven, it would be nearly perfect.

Oh, right. That's unfortunate.

And in the war room, I think :)

The patch 10 blog post was down for a bit (at least for me), but it's back up now and indicates there should be a wardrobe at Haven.

We’re happy to introduce the player wardrobe. You can now choose from a range of different outfits for your Inquisitor thanks to a wardrobe in Haven or Skyhold.

Just adding that for posterity, maybe someone will find it in some odd corner and enlighten the rest of us!

Well, they did say they removed the notes because some of them were inaccurate. I hope not this one.

That would be good. I might check now. Nevermind.

well considering you're in armour the whole time you're in Haven I wouldn't have expected it there anyway Still itt's not too bad at least now we know once we get settled at Skyhold we know we don't have to wear that outfit anymore at least unless we want to.

As people above said the only issue with no wardrobe in Haven is wearing the beige stuff during the Inquisitor's coronation scene. Which is epic, so I'm a little disappointed with that, not enough to go up in arms about it though haha, just glad we got something without requiring mods! :D

The only problem is that you have to wear your pajamas during the Skyhold intro and look like a fool during your coronation.

As am I I quite like a couple of the outfits so will likely end up using them when I get to that point. It is disappointed you can't do it for then but I think that's down to the way the games been progammed in that as soon as you're done in Haven You'er effectively in one long cutscene which includes your coronation at Skyhold and you don't regain full control until it's climax. Which would mean it would need to be in Haven for that but there you go. Still I don't consider it a big loss anyway.

Well, drat. I was rather hoping there was one in Haven for the war table (though you see your character only briefly), and the coronation. Oh well, it's still better than having no choice at all!

Does anyone know if the outfits work at the winter palace, or do you still have to wear that weird uniform? It just looks so out of place in this time period within the game. In my opinion of course.

If I understand correctly, one begins in the Red formal wear, then may change using a wardrobe available at the Winter Palace.

Do you mean the Winter palace quest in the main game? if so, as far as I know that's a quest plot item (the red uniform) so there to stay unless modded or removed to wear the beige outfit instead.

They added one to the DLC's hub at the Winter Palace but only available after arriving there, so at first you're in the red I believe.

I bet Bioware left it out of Haven on purpose. They want us to suffer a bit for not liking the PJ by making us go through the skyhold intro with them.

Well, that sounds like a really stupid idea and totally illogical, so I'm going to assume this is not the case.
