How about some long hair options?

I don't buy the clipping issue simply because there are other games in which clipping with long hair is minimal to non-existent. I also don't buy the priority issue. They made a lot of hair styles. 13 or 14 baldish buzz buts and about the same number of sideburnish/punk/elderly grandmotherly/receding hairline/manish  hairdos. Why make so many  (lousy) hair styles if you don't think hair is enough of a priority.

I would prefer quality to quantity. I also would have appreciated one or two feminine hair styles.

I don't get why they tossed away perfectly good styles from DA:O and DA2 but brought back this abomination: ew_zpse18f2a94.jpg but made it less fancy...

Why couldn't they have brought back Anora's hair or Elthina's?  No clipping with either of those and they're lore appropriate and feminine. What about the simple chin length bob styles like Leliana's? Or the ponytailed braid? Zevran's hair? Alistair's hair (the closest thing now is the mullet)? They did the same thing with Mass Effect. In ME2 there were a few nice looking updo's but in ME3 they changed them to where Shepard looked like she had the skull of a xenomorph.

Check Skyrim's vanilla hair selection again, see if any go beyond shoulder length or extend far beyond the head. They don't.

TW3 is different, largely because they don't have to design armor, hair, body types and weapons for a vast variety of corresponding armor, body types, weapons and hair. Geralt is always going to be Geralt.

You'll be hard pressed to tell me a game developed during the same period as inquisition with it's level of customization with a wide variety of long hair. I'd hazard a guess that you can't, because it's too difficult and time consuming to implement.

I don't really have a dog in your fight against our current short hair options, I find them a bit lacking as well, but as for long hair, I don't think we were ever going to get good long hair options.

And as for why femshep always looks like she got into a losing fight with a pair of scissors, you got me. I have no clue.

I'd like long hair but I'm more concerned with having better graphical quality and better artistic designs in general whatever the length.
