First and foremost I must warn anyone who comes across this thread that I am currently absolutely livid at this patch.
The entire game just feels off, from the character movement and the UI and everything. I've noticed subtle changes, like in the ability trees menu and what not, but it feels very sluggish to me. Could just be a personal issue or maybe I'm creating issues where there are none, but it goes beyond that.
I was currently replaying my canon playthrough (in preparation of the final DLC) to finally put Inquisition to rest. I've been primarily playing Inquisition for almost a year now and only took a more hiatus to complete Witcher 3. In the 11 playthroughs I've completed, this was my final one (at least final planned playthrough).
Then all of a sudden the game feels very sluggish, the game audio is off, the companion AI isn't responsive, and my Knight Enchanter all of a sudden can't cut through enemy guard like it's hot butter. Seriously, nerfing (yet again) an ability in single player??
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Sheesh.
I reloaded an earlier save right before fighting the Highland Ravanger just to make sure I wasn't going crazy with the breakdown in game performance and the lack of companion AI. And it's just so. The dragon uses her stun-ability to call dragonlings to her hide, the screeching audio doesn't play. Companions just stand there sometimes without even auto-attacking, even though I have tactics set.
And for opinion's sake, these new wardrobe options are lame. I know I'll probably get a lot of heat for this thread because it's reminiscent of the "poisonous" BioWare fanbase that is never appreciative of anything the company does. If you've seen my other posts, you know it's not like that. For all its shortcomings, Inquisition is a really fun game and I'd like to continue playing it.
