Now that we have our 17th character, the mighty Saarebas and the final SP dlc is being released, I got to thinking that we need one last character to even everything out before Bioware closes up shop on DAI.

I personally think a male elven mage-rogue hybrid character in the form of an Arcane Archer would be perfect, as we now have a new dlc character of every race accept Elves and the only reason I think he should be male is simply for equality, so we have 9 of each gender. I think choosing a bow based character over another dagger character would be preferable for this hybrid, as we already have four of them and infusing elemental damage into the archery skills would be awesome. Also having an archer that isn't human would be nice too.

Imagine an even more fiery explosive shot sending your enemies fleeing in panic, a volley of ice cold arrows from a leaping shot freezing every thing they hit or a lightning fast long shot stunning and arcing off in multiple directions and maybe even summoning a wisp to distract your enemies so you can plant all these mystical arrows in their backs for good measure.

This would be my dream character, so I thought I'd put it out to find out if the community thinks and to ask what other ideas anybody may have?

You're high we need a warrior that does high damage like a berserker. Rogues are useless when you got 200 cunning.... not to mention there's a new rogue and mage. So yeah.

If that were to happen I could see Ohgren make a return, just thought it was a bit of a unique character. I dont think the majority of players have 200 cunning so i cabt see that being an issue for most, and but i surposse he could be promoted as a mage so we get a point in willpower rather than cunning.

I love the idea of an arcane archer but....

Pala is a rogue, and now that we have a new mage, a warrior would balance it out.

Me, id like to see Fenris or a dalish warrior. There are some great designs of dalish sword and shield warriors in the heroes of dragon age game, they may be able to draw influence from them.

Cillian and Neria, are both mages from the same clan. Id like to see one of their warriors join the inquisition, and the dialogue to have some awkward flirty lines with neria, and some friendly rivalry with cillian over combat technique.

I would of rather seen a grey warden blood mage. This team like took da lore and made it so confusing. Qunaris do not trust magic so Why is she not being controlled. Idc much but then there's the dwarves with magic... idk but this game went from really fun to borderline wtf sm I still playing for real quick.

All very far points, maybe I'll just have to wait until DA4 then, or hope for more than just one more multiplayer character to be introduced.

I'd love a dps heavy s&s Grey Warden warrior, but I really don't think we'll get one.

If we do get a new character it should be a warrior, but if it were a rouge there are 2 acceptable options:

1. Elven Arcane Archer

2. Templar Archer

 

I mean, clearly the Templars practice archery, why are we limited to warriors? We could get stuff like dispel arrows or light arrows.

Why not mounts like a unicorn that farts toxic cloud? Pretty sure the archers already op can we stop dreaming about lame arrows now thanks.

I was hoping for an elven rogue (archer makes sense lore wise). I'd LOVE them to bring back the ranger specialization from Origins. Maybe the Elven Ranger could summon a wolf [wink wink]. 

 

Or even if it's just an elven warrior/rogue hybrid that's a ranger...let me summon woodland critters plz.

The flask of lightning skill in the tempest tree has been changed.
Instead of quicksilver, it now has a passive called Thunderstruck. At the end of the elixirs duration, each enemy struck gets dealt with lightning damage.
Gives the tempest a definitely more 'bring on the storm' feel compared to before and makes daggers really fun.

I could sort of imagine a warrior wielding a weapons in each hand, and using flasks to taunt and freeze enemies, and hit with hard abilities at no stamina cost.

Im really not sure.how they could utilise the lightning flask skill in multiplayer...but.damn i like that new passive LOL

I personally want a new male warrior character, but they'd have to get creative to not touch ground already covered by every other warrior class we have.

 

Someone in another topic mentioned an elf archer/mage hybrid and now I can't get that idea out of my head. But that becomes problematic since Pala doesn't knock down doors or grant Con from promotions. Hm...

Think that might have been me in the 'ThankYou' or 'Multiplay DLC Musts' thread lol. I think for an Arcane Archer to work Pala would have to be changed to promote and knock down doors like a warrior.

Only two characters use one handed weapons.

Only two characters use the bow.

IF they make a new character, would be nice to expand the usefulness of those two weapons.

Pala is listed as a warrior so officially she is a duel wield warrior. For class balance I expect a rogue. I prefer a elf archer but not a dalish there is two of them already. Maybe a former night elf.

I say add Ameriden to the MP character list.

We would get to see the character in action and maybe give us more details on him. See some new powers.

He was a major part of the Jaws of Hakkon story and a prior Inquisitor, but he faded away so quickly. It was a shame to just let him go out in such a brisk fashion.

Stone Golem

Can't run but dual wields 2-handed weapons.

Uses sword and shield but also has two katanas on his back that he can wield with certain skills.

Was found after the events of the temple, and asked the opportunity to serve the inquisition.

I wouldnt mind a harlequin also since we seem to be going the voiceless route with the new MP characters

We should get a willpower or constitution rogue to match up with the warrior that gives us cunning.
