I got this yesterday with Saarebas in the party. And the next game, guard generation was back.

Bingo.

My Yvanalis staff wasn't generating guard with Saarebas in group either.

they all work well the problem is the damage reduction / returned damage passives drop your armour rating instead of just created a new field entry, chances are someone was trying to balance something and changed an implementation field to test what happens with zero promotions and forgot to put the use x if greater than 0 tag back into the box .....

Bingo what? He said there was no saarebas in the party, also my game had no saarebas. So unless there was one who left that somehow disrupted the lobby I don't see that being the problem.

Had the same bug just now. No saarebas, either. Just a game without guard generation at all. Had a savage thorn in my off hand, too.

I had one game yesterday where I had the bug. Next game (same lobby), everything was fine. Played several games, with and without Saarebas today & no bug.

Had it glitch again today, but no Saarebas in the party. Just noped right out of there...

Yup, me too. Saarebas was in my match. Wasn't paying attention to whether it was like that from the start or if a specific ability triggered the bug.

Just played Saarebas with Yavanalis. No guard generated. FC against Darkspawn.

My Saarebas somehow gotten guard with only a SS and me in the party.   I thought it was pretty cool.  I was using that higher defense frost step stance.  Not sure if that makes any differences.

Yes, this is another well known bug (not connected to Saarebas). If you're near an SS while she is generating guard, sometimes you get guard yourself.

I got this bug today for the first time.No guard generate at all.

Saarebas was in the party,but wasn't a leader.Game wasn't laggy at all.

Has Bioware even acknowledge this as a bug in Twitter? seeing as how they aren't posting here about it.

Yes, this is another well known bug (not connected to Saarebas). If you're near an SS while she is generating guard, sometimes you get guard yourself.

 

I think I had this during one of my morning runs. 2 different mages were getting guard (I was playing SS) and I wondering if there was some new toy...

Happened to me yesterday (only once). After the game (I was in a pug), left the group and did not happen again whether I was hosting or not.

Same thing happened to my Kitari. Charging bull was not generating any guard. Not good finding out on high Dragon fight after using the dragon call >< would have been a big waist if I left. Very frustrating.. Needs a fix big time..
