I am torn between 3 Inquisitors any help would be appreciated.

1st-  Human female Rift Mage  romanced Iron Bull but kept him Qunari (yes I sacrificed the chargers), she placed Celene alone on the throne and was friends with Solas.

 

2nd Elven female Knight Enchanter she romanced Solas but didn't remove her valaslin, she made peace between Celene, Briala and Gaspard and made Iron Bull Tal Vashoth.

 

3rd Qunari female dual wield Assassin she romanced Sera, she made peace between Celene, Briala and Gaspard and wasn't friends with Solas.

I'd suggest playing as the character you feel most attached to, at least for the first playthrough.

This. Personally I am using my KE that romanced Solas and put Leliana on the Sunburst Throne despite having conscripted the mages. Never recruited Vivienne.

The Qunari was my first playthrough, the Human was my completionist and the Elf had the misfortune of being my Nightmare inquisitor which meant she skipped a lot.  Well i guess I will just go with the order listed.

I agree with Pokemario.  In general, my advice would be to start with the character who you most enjoyed playing during the main campaign.  Since Trespasser is new content, and it (hopefully) hasn't and won't be spoiled, you can experience the shock and surprise for the first time with your favorite Inquisitor.  

 

 

Part of me wonders if your human Rift Mage isn't your favorite because you listed them first.  With the Qunari being known enemies in Trespasser, your decision in Iron Bull's personal quest is sure to have some kind of context, which could be pretty interesting.

^^  In the end, I'm going to have to agree with this.

 

If you play Trespasser with any character that didn't romance Solas first, then you'll already know the context of his return to the game revealed to you and it might spoil the romance-related surprise of seeing him again.  Solas isn't my favorite romance, to be honest — so, I don't personally care about the potential romance stuff related to him that Trespasser might hold.  That being said, if you really enjoyed the Solas romance, I think it would be more gratifying to see him return to your romanced Inquisitor first.

 

As for me?  I'm going to start with my female Trevelyan who romanced Cullen.  She's not only my favorite, but also my completionist who was friends with Solas.

In my head I always do DLC with my KE mage Caitlyn first.  She's my favorite and mental canon.  Then I do stuff with my DW rogue Rafe next.  For some reason I really enjoyed his PT.  He was kind of a jerk but not a complete a-hole. He's kind of like alternate canon.

I think it would be best to pick your LI (provided it's an option) since it seems to be character-driven, and that's an important character decision. 

 

Otherwise, it looks like there's a mage as a Big Bad type, so we should probably expect enemies who cast barrier, so I'll play with that in mind,

to me, if you romanced solas with any of your PCs, it's a no-brainer. I have six and I will definitely be using the one who romanced Solas (I couldn't take doing that again...so I only have one)

I'm going with my character that romanced Solas first as well.

 

If you are at all attached to that romance, might be a good first bet for you.

Same her, female Lavellan will be first because of Solas, whatever will happen at least she (and I) will have her heart at peace hopefully!

Solas ain't my type so I never romanced him. I'll just use my completionist canon human rift mage who friended everyone.

Well I actually started with Samara my Rift Mage who romanced Qunari Bull.  But when I start talking with companions they mention the romance with Bull but he has no dialogue If that doesn't feel like a bug.  Well I played for about a half hour more and all the references to elves and Solas just pointed to me feeling I made a mistake.  So I've stopped that playthrough and started Elisha's. But now I'm worried I let him remove the valaslin but when it ended as it did I felt so betrayed I replayed it and kept the Valaslin.  Now I wonder if that was a mistake.  But no spoilers please I need to find out for myself.  Taking a dinner break..
